Here is a three piece set of heavy duty casters. The tread is aproximately 2" wide. And the wheel diameter is 8" The total height from floor to the top of the mounting plate is 9 1/4" The"tire" part of the caster is red plastic. Believed to be polyurethane, and the grey hub is a non-magnetic material of some kind. Each caster hub has grease fittings for lubrication. And the swivel style caster also has a grease fitting for the swivel ball bearing. The locking lever appears to be frozen or else too tight in adjustment on the swivel-style caster. This is a nice old set of caster wheels. The wheels are all cast iron and the frame is a very heavy metal. They all match. They are marked Bassick. There are no cracks or chips. They have not been cleaned. They can easily be cleaned by soaking them in a degreaser overnight. Each caster weighs approx. 1 1/2 pounds. They all swivel and roll smooth. The base has ball bearings and the wheel has a hole made for oiling. They measure approx. 3 1/4 inches tall. The wheel measures approx. a little over an inch wide and approx. 2 1/2 inches across.
