This is an older. Steel body chain come-a-long. This is the only 2 speed come-a-long I have ever seen. It has a lever to switch when you change from 1 to 2 parts. 2 parted is 3 ton cap. There is also a lever on the back for up and down. As you can see from photo, I tested it. The beam weight is 1800 lbs. I picked it up and lowered it down. This come-along works. The free works good. there is a hook on the end of the chain to 2 part. Chain length is just over 10 feet. Unlike many modern come-a-longs this one is made to last.
