It appears to have the original blue paint(some chips) but overall it is in excellent condition for its age. This is from the estate of my husband’s parents from Berks County. In Pennsylvania. It measures about 3½" long and 1¼” high and appears to be in good and working condition. It seems to might be missing the wrecker winch hook, though I don’t really know if it ever had one. The 4 metal wheels are in nice condition- show a bit of age. On the underneath side are 2 sets of numbers– 11” on driver side and“1965” on the passenger side. NOTE- This wrecker does not have the maker’s identity mark. But it may very well be a Hubley(or a Kent or Keaton or an Arcade. Vintage Tin Friction Wrecker Tow Service Truck - Japan
Up for bid is a vintage tin friction wrecker service truck made in Japan. It measures approx. 3 3/4 inches long. The paint is still bright and in very good condition showing only some nicks on the top rail part of the bed. The boom's tow string and hook are present and equipped with a manual crank. The string slips when the crank is turned not allowing the string to wind up on the stem. Needs to be stabilized on the crank stem. The front drive friction motor works fine. All axles. For sale today is a vintage original 1969 HUBLEY GABRIEL WRECKER TOW TRUCK. The truck is a cool combination of Red. Blue and Yellow colors. It's a great size, at 8 inches it's not to long, and not too short. it's just right! The Wrecker rolls nice and straight. It is in great played with used condition, with the only rust being on the two axels. Most of the paint is still there, but there are some chips that come from age and normal play wear. I think this Tow Truck would make a great display item. Or addition to your collection. These HUBLEY toys have become quite collectible, and you don't see too many of them come up for sale! Tootsietoy 1947 International K5 Metal tow truck and wrecker
This is an old Tootsietoy 1947 International K5 Metal Tow Truck. It is pretty beat up and used. Most of the paint is worn off. There is a crack in the metal next to the cable reel. The tow hook has a slight bend to the right. The back left tire has a chunk of rubber missing. There also seems to be a weld over the tootsietoy label underneath. For all these reasons my auction start price is only $5.00. The S&H cost for this item is $3.75 by First Class Mail to all U.S. locations. For sale today is a vintage Buddy-L POLICE EMERGENCY RESCUE WRECKER Tow Truck Vehicle. This Buddy L Toy is in played with condition. But still in very good condition. It measures 5 inches long. The body is made of pressed steel, but the bottom is plastic. When you press down on the roof, the Emergency Lights come on and a police siren blows! Batteries are not included. Estate Find! Presented for your consideration. A vintage pressed steel tow truck. Made by Structo. Label says Structo Towing Service on each side. Measures 11-1/2 inches long. It is in good solid condition. But not without character. There is some surface rust in the bed, and here and there. There are scratches and dings from years of play. WOW! Here is an awesome oppritunity! Thinning some cars out of my collection and boy does this one pain me to part with! Very rare Kingsbury Tow Truck. This is the later version with front fenders. An older restoration. looks nice but the hand pin striping is a bit juvenile.could use new tires. But reproductions are available. Don't let this scare you. This truck displays wonderfully! Wind up is complete but is skips. This is an extremely rare model that has the orange tires which makes me believe it was a Lil Jim toy from JC Pennys. These trucks are getting near impossible to find and are not coming available as often as they used to. So don't let this one get away! Vintage 1970's-80's Tiny-Tonka Wrecker/Tow truck. Stamped Steel& plastic. It measures 2&1/4" tall. 4&3/4"X2&1/8" The the crank on the side of the tow boom, has a travel that either lifts or drops the hook to pick up or haul levels. This unit is in good condition. There's normal rubbing/scuff. Scratches, oxidation& wear all over.There are no missing or broken parts. The entire unit has a great patina The stickers are in good condition& the axles have oxidation to them. Did you always want this one?
