Bee Be Brothers 5 Ton hand winch in good working order. All winches are currently being removed from a dock which is being taken out of service. All winchs are in working order but all handles were removed to keep customers from operating winches. Therefore there are no winch handles availible with these winches. Braden 30,000 pound winch - Model AMS10-18 used very little, good winch & cable
You are viewing used Braden brand winch I have for sale. It is a model AMS10-18. I bought this from a electric company that bought it new. Installed on a truck bed. They shortly thereafter installed a different bed on the truck and removed the winch. It has not been used very much, but it has been stored outside so the paint is faded. There is a tag on the end of the winch that reads that it has a maximum pull of 30.000 pounds with a bare drum and 15,000 pounds with a full drum of cable. The cable is in good condition. I did not unspool it all to measure it. But there is a lot of cable on the drum! It is 1/2 inch diameter with an eye on the end. The winch was originally run off a roller chain coming from the trucks PTO. I have had a lot of these type winches in the past and they are easy to convert to hydraulic drive if you need to. You can ... moreremove the drive sprocket and install a hydraulic drive motor with a coupler on the end of the input shaft and run it that way. This is a nice heavy duty winch.
