Here we have and antique wooden industrial mold from the early 1940s when the ship the U.S.S. Pegasus was converted for use by the U.S. Navy for World War 2. This is the mold for the Deck Winch as marked and shown in photo 7. This mold has a great industrial look and weighs about 37 lbs so it could be mounted on the wall. This mold could be used as a wall mounted shelf or just simply displayed for what it is. This is a great conversation piece with World War Two history behind it. as shown in the photos it stands about 53 inches tall. Is about 24 inches wide and sticks out about 14 inches if mounted on the wall. Ramsey 800 Series Winch
Ramsey H-800 winch. 20.000 lbs. pulling capacity. Worm gear in excellent condition. Spool length is 15" overall length is about 28" No hydraulic motor included. Winch is in very good shape, you can spin it by hand, if you can grip the input firmly enough. It does have a 40:1 gearing ratio after all. The only condition issues are the clutch handle. Which is missing the shroud and the handle itself probably should be replaced before putting into service. But the free spool does work just fine. The other is a few dents on the top of the case above the gear end. Looks like sombody may have tried to loosen the case to get the end off without knowing to use the back off bolts, or who knows. But there are no cracks in the case and the end comes off just fine. Drained the gear oil and it wasn't in bad shape. No chunks or metal shards ... moreand the oil was only slightly green. But the insides where all in very good shape with no corrosion. See the third photo. Will be shipped by truck. Feel free to contact me about rates. This is a WWII Braden Winch(4 bolt top) all original and in excellent working order. I had this on my 1946 Willys and sold the jeep minus the winch. Everything is here to mount it right up. WARN WINCH Z3500
Powerful Warn Winch Z3500 when it was in working order. Bought brand new and got outstanding results when being used. Allowed an uncle to borrow my winch and when it was returned it had been taken apart. He told me that a pin had sheared and needed to be replaced. I had ended up buying a newer model and never took the time to replace that pin or whatever was the issue. So somebody knowing what they are doing it sounds like a minor fix. Good Luck.

John Deere 450c Dash and Winch Control Cable I purchased this dash for a John Deere 450c Crawler Loader that I was going to buy. It was bought for me by a dealer who bought it from someone who had a non-running JD 450c project machine. I did not buy the 450c so I did not install the dash. I have not tested the gauges and have no idea if they function. I assumed they did work for the $450 price I paid for the used dash but I can make no guarantees because I have not seen them work. I know you can still buy some replacement gauges if needed. There is no key for the ignition and no cable for the tachometer. The sensor for the temperature gauge is attached. The 450c I was looking to buy also had a winch but the winch control cable was broken. I took the broken winch control cable to a local industrial hose and cable business and had a new cable ... moremade up based on the old cable. It has never been installed because I did not buy the machine but it looked like it would fit right in. The cable cost me approximately $100 to get made up which was significantly less expensive that buying a new OEM winch control cable. I also have some John Deere 450c manuals. And some gear cutting DVD’s and books for sale in other auctions. Shipping will be $40(because the box is fairly big so the cable does not get kinked) by Canada Post USA Expedited Parcel. Huge "C.Farlow, 191 strand" Brass Salmon winch reel,untouched,part of collection
This is a reel that is part of a small collection(please see the last picture I have listed for a pic of all items being listed) They have all been collected over 30 years ago and all the items photographed in the last shot will bve sold on ebay no reserve. This is for the reel listed on its own, obviously not the whole collection, so please look at the images closeley and ask questions or bid accordingly, Thanks Very very big nice old Brass Salmon reel, hard to tell how big until you look at the image at the end of the items together and you can then easily tell that this reel is a big early example and well made, if you look at the group image its the biggest one shown in the collection, though I have no idea how old it is its made by"C Farlow" and is wonderfully hand engraved with the name and also the address"191 The Strand ... moreLondon" and"MAKER" I am told it came from an estate near Edinburgh originally in contents at a house sale in the 70's along with one of the other reels in the collection and its certainly a big impressive Salmon reel, another feature is the foot has a fish stamped into it, not sure if this is a farlow's logo or a personal touch. Handle seems to be made from"ox bone" or similat and has a couple age cracks but its all original and has a great patina and overall as hopefully you can see its 100% original and untouched if a little dirty, only condition issue is it looks as at one point it was dropped on a step edge and both spool sides have a ding, this could be restored and taken away but as it does not afect the spool working and its within its working life I do not see it as a major issue, especially as its a monster big reel! The size is very big at approx 11.3cm x 6.4cm or approx 4 1/2" x 2" large and important feeling heavy reel, would probably balance out a big greenheart salmon rod a treat. No Reserve.
