It advertises SENOUR'S FLOOR PAINT made by THE MARTIN-SENOUR CO. of CHICAGO and MONTREAL. The Can boasts that this paint is READY FOR USE and will DRY OVERNIGHT. I do not know what the number 28 on the front of the can means. This was meant to be a functional advertisement- it has an attached hook that swings down and snaps into place to serve as a"Standard Bill File" I assume that means you hang your paid or unpaid bills here. However. I have never used such a filing system. There is an old string through the eye in the top. In addition to the Directions For Use on the back. It has the name Bastian Bros. Co. Rochester, N.Y. I think this is probably the company that made the item. This item is in good ... morecondition and I will try to describe it as best as possible. The colors on the advertisement are still vibrant- there is some normal corner and edge wear. And the upper right corner has an unfortunate tear and bend- I have included photos of the front and back of that corner. There is also a lesser bend on the left side where the part showing the top of the paint can handle sticks out. There is some discoloration to the paper, and the back has some spots on it- I have not tried to clean it in any way for fear of damaging it. This item measures approx. 3-1/2" wide and 8-1/4" long when the hook is extended. And 6" long when the hook is folded up. I am not sure of the exact age of this item. But it is definitely old and original and has been in my possession for at least 30 years. I DO NOT USE RESERVES! I start an item at the bare minimum price to cover my time for making the listing. Vintage Nautical Wooden Snatch Block w/Brass Swivel Hook/Lewmar?/NR
This is a vintage Nautical Wooden Snatch Block with a Brass Swivel Hook and Copper Pivots from an estate in Green Valley. AZ. I believe this to be an unusual piece of nautical hardware as I was unable to identify it online and the only blocks that come close are the early Lewmar's. Even those have a different shape to the block and what appear to be chromed hardware. One thing they have in common is the phenolic(Micarta) sheave. The sheave width is 3/4" overall with a diameter of 1.5" Overall length is 6 3/4" The white metal side straps are probably white brass as they're non-ferrous. The swivel base and clasp may also be copper as their patina is different from the brass hook above. The hook is opened by pulling on the spring-loaded pin. The only markings on the block are a"2" on one side and what appears ... moreto be a scrimmed sailboat on the other(see pics) Overall condition is very good. Tatpin Antique Tatting Shuttle Hook/ Pin with Ring English* Circa 1870 The chain and finger ring of this little tatting accessory are made of brass and the hook is steel(attracts a magnet) The ring was worn on a finger of the left hand while working. Leaving the right hand free to hold the shuttle. Picots were formed over the shaft to ensure they would be of uniform size and the hook was used to join picots or motifs. It's in excellent condition with no damage and is all original. The hook measures 1 7/8" long and stretched out it is 5 3/4" long from the tip of the hook to the top of the ring. This item is big 17 3/4 inches long.6 3/4 inches wide,the hook is 6 3/4 inch wide and the hook hole is 1 3/4 inch wide,an the item weighs 22 pounds and is made of cast iron and wood,there is a lot of pitting on the item,in the metal but with a little effort the wheel turns and the wood is not in bad shape,will need a little work for restoration,but the item should not be used until it is restored,because it is at the least 80 to 90 years old,this item came from an old ship that was set to be demolished in the ship yard,it was a 3 mast ship,80 foot long,but the name was unreadable,I was able to only salvage a few items,this piece will need a big box for shipping,any special shipping request please let me know, This item is posted and managed courtesy of Bonanza.com

This is a very cool pair of handmade earrings! They are made from two real Art Deco watch faces. Both say"Swiss" on the bottom of the faces. But I don't see any other markings(for watch brand or altered art de signer) One is probably brass. And the other may be silver. Neither sticks to a magnet. But the f rench hooks do. The measure a little over 2" from top of the hook to the dangle at the bottom. They are funky and fun. I doubt you'll see another pair! These will ship for free.

Vintage Large Antique Blacksmith Hand Forged Iron Hook & Eye
Vintage Blacksmith Hand Forged Large Iron Hook and Eye. This Iron Hook measures 5 3/4" and hook is 2 3/4" across. Hook opening is 1" Eyehole measures 3/4" in diameter. Hook and eye were pounded from a solid piece of iron- note the imperfections. Came out of an old Maine barn- It was rusty but I've cleaned it up some and lightly oiled it to preserve it- that's why it has such a sheen to it.
