ACE Glass Drying Tube with 24/40 Ground Glass end and rubber stopper
This item is for a glass drying tube piece as shown. The item is in new condition with no apparent chips. The item is from old stock and is at least 15 years old. Just a note. though I often start the bidding at 99 cents. I know it's worth more. I want to instill interest. I also up the starting price when I get a bunch of people watching the item, but not bidding. Shipping and handling is $5.00. via the USPS, with in the U.S. Unless requested, we do not ship insured. Though the item will be well packaged, the seller assumes no responsibility for uninsured items. I ship all my items via the US postal service.usually first class or priority, sometimes parcel post, sometimes media mail based on the type and size of package. The USPS is often the most economical; but, not always. It is the most convenient to me because of location. Please ... morenote that if my S&H price seems high, the cost is not just the cost of postage. There are other cost considerations. There's the cost of materials. This auction is for a unique Art Glass Bottle Stopper created to look like an Angelfish. It is white with a green tail and fins. And green and blue stripes. The outer layer of glass is clear, giving the piece depth and character. Glass top is 2 1/8" wide by 2 3/8" high and sits atop a chrome stopper with rubber seal. Overall height is 4 5/8" The stopper is in excellent condition and does not appear to be used. The display gift box is unfortunatley not in as good of condition on the outside. To my knowledge this has never had anything liquid or otherwise in it and it does not smell of any chemicals. The rubber stopper comes with this and it is also pretty much brand new. Vintage Chicago Roller Skates Men's size 9. They measures 10" long from heel to toe and are marked size 9. These are being sold in as found condition. They could use a good cleaning. But the leather looks well preserved as we see no tears cracks or rips in it with the except of one tiny bite bout the size of a pinhead to the leather in the back by the heel. The heels are wooden and the skates lace up and then have the metal hooks on top. They also have a pat pend. stamp by Rice Bros. Mfg. Co, for the Rubber Stopper on the toes. The inside of the boot is marked" Bettylyte Styled by Hyde" The bottom of the skate on the metal part says: Chicago, Velvet Tread Roller Skate Co. Pat. Pending, Made in USA. There is some rust to the metal plating, but surprizingly not a whole lot. The measurements are 5 3/4" tall with lid. 3 3/4" wide, the inside opening is 2 3/4" in diameter. There are no cracks or chips in good clean usable condition. Antique TCW Co Apathecary Bottle Glass/Aluminum With Rubber Stopper
Antique unique"T.C.W. CO. Apothecary bottle with rubber stopper used for medical purposes. The bottom is stamped T.C.W. CO USA 4-L- 5 which is the TC Wheaton Company which operated between the years of 1888 and 1915 in Milville. New Jersey. The side seam on this goes all the way to the neck or base of the stopper. The stopper has a chain hanging and a 3" handle. What is unique about this bottle is that it had a layer of aluminum at the half bottom. Please see pictures. There's not any chips.The aluminum had some patina looks like finger smudges from the handleling. Measurements: High with topper:9" High without topper:6" Diameter:3" Circunference:10 1/2"
