He was commissioner of highways of Leicester, and a justice of the peace. Here is a Corning. Clear cast tall globe that is marked as follows: The Belt Ry of Chicago. This road is the switching road in Chicago and has been in business since 1882. Nice, hard to find globe in good condition. No cracks, normal nicks around the lower edge from use. There are some are also some air bubbles in the globe, but otherwise, nice and clear, no cloudiness or age discolor. Size is 5 1/4 inches tall. The CNX mark is cast on the opposite side of the railroad markings and also on the front side, over the panel/rr markings, in small letters just below the upper edge is cast as follows: PATD DEC 30, 1902 NO 717501.
