Vtg Set 3 Pyrex Clear Glass Teardrop Measuring Batter Nesting Mixing Bowls Spout
RARE. Here is a wonderful set of Pyrex Clear Glass Teardrop Measuring Bowls with Spouts and Handles. These are often called“Mix& Measure Bowls” and were produced from 1962 to 1968. The bowls include a 1 cup. 3 cup, and 8 cup. All the bowls have raised markings on the sides. The Small Bowl = 1 cup and is 2 ½” deep and 5” wide from spout to handle. The side markings are in 3rds and 4ths and the bottom has a#23. The Medium Bowl = 3 cups(1 ½ pints) and is 3 ½” deep and 7 ½” wide from spout to handle. The side markings are in ½ cups and pints and the bottom has a#9. The Large Bowl = 8 cups(2 quarts) and is 4” deep and 10” wide from handle to spout. The raised side markings are in cups and pints/quarts and the bottom has a#11. The bottom of each bowl has“TRADE MARK PYREX(R) MADE IN U.S.A. FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. I have for sale a lovely set of sterling silver dessert cups with Depression glass cups. I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves in describing these fantastic antique pieces of silver. In this auction there are: 8 sterling silver bases the two handles on sides. These bases measure 2” tall X 5 1/2” wide with a 2 ½” diameter on the base. 3 smaller but lovely sterling silver bases 2 ½” tall X 2 7/8” wide with 2” diameter on base. Also. There are 3 Stainless Steel bases for dessert glass included in this auction. They stand 2 3/8” tall X 3 1/8” wide with a 2” diameter on base. There are 11 sterling silver bases and 3 stainless steel bases for dessert cups. The glass cups that are included are: 6 depression era clear glass cups; 5 will fit pieces well; one the stem of glass is too long to fit comfortable in base or stand. ... moreAlso; there are 7 Pyrex glass from the 1940’s that work well with this set. Glass cups are 4” in diameter 2 ¼” tall; 2 of cups are marked“445 I 1.4 Rag Pyrex US Pat. Office. The other 5 has a slightly scalloped decorative edge and are marked 456 6 oz. And, on the reverse side, an approx. 2/3-page ad for French's Spices and Extracts, with yummy-sounding recipes. A perfect decorative accent for your retro kitchen, or gift for a vintage-loving friend. Excellent to near mint; barely discernible yellowing along the edges. The scans make this look much worse than it is; in reality. The page is"eye clean" at a glance, and the yellowing not noticeable unless you look for it. Page is very neatly trimmed. The photos are 600-dpi scans, and any flaws appear worse than they are, due to increased contrast in the way my scanner reproduces. We'll be listing several vintage ads from our collection. The coffee pot is 100% complete with the stem and filter. It is in nice used condition with no stains, chips or cracks to the glass and no dings to the metal filter. Super clean and ready to be used or displayed. The original owner put a very thin sheet of styrofoam to protect the bottom from any scratches. I left it there.
