I think that would work too! This unusual pair of embossed glasses feature 3 nude dancing girls.each has a different pose. These were made by Libbey in the 1970s under the name La Femme. Each glass measures 8 3/4" tall with a 2 1/2" diameter. Nice addition to vintage barware or to replace/add to an existing collection. These are"clear glass" which can be difficult to photograph. This is a green glass canister or jar. It does not have a lid. The bottom of the canister has: MOD DEP Italy A VE 5 1062 ml. I tried to show this in photo 3. The canister is about 7" tall. It has about a 3 1/4" base and is about 4" at widest part. The opening is about 3 5/8" This canister is used. I see no chips or cracks. I do see an air bubble on the lip of the opening. This auction is for 4 pieces of dark brown glassware. On the bottom of each is the marking of a very fancy capital letter B. Is there a collector or expert out there who can tell me the original use of these 4 pieces. They look like jars. Are they liquor glasses. Such as shot glasses or for fine liquors? Are they votives or candle holders? Did they rest down inside something else? Maybe small bowls? Each glass is a beautiful deep brown color. I found no chips, cracks or scratches. Each stands approximately ... more2 1/4 inches high with a base of 1 3/4 inches. The unique shape of the piece is larger toward the base at 2 1/2 inches. There are seams in the glass. The interesting base which appears it could set into something and the top edge which has a finished rim as if it had a lid. Lovely brown color. Tiara Glassware Chantilly Green Creamer & Sugar Bowls
For your consideration is a beautiful Tiara Glassware Chantilly Green creamer& sugar bowl. This is a great set to complete your collection or to add to it. Remember mothers day is fastly approaching. The sugar bowl is 6 1/4 inches wide from handle to handle and 5 1/4 inches wide from the opposite side of the handles. It is in great condition. I don't see any chips or nicks in it. There is a little bit of rough edges on the inside of the bowl by the handles. It isn't sharp. But wanted to let you know. They can't even be photographed. The creamer measures 6 inches long from finial to handle and is 3 3/4 inches wide. It is in good condition with the exception of a small chip on the top inside edge close to the handle. You are looking at a set of Libbey Gold Leaves Hostess Glasses. These are 5 oz juice glasses that are clear with gold leaves and a gold rim around the top. They are approx 3 1/2 inches tall. 2 1/4 inches across with a thick bottom. Box is in fair condition with tape on 2 corners of the lid. The gold rim is showing wear on some of the edges. Elegant Glass Glassware Imperial Glass Co. Candlewick Crimped Bowl
The Imperial Glass Company manufactured Candlewick pieces from 1936 to 1982. We obtained this bowl from a family member's estate. And I really have no idea how old it is. However, I highly doubt it is older than 1965. This is a 5 1/2 inch wide crimped bowl. It measures about 2 1/2 inches tall. This is a really sweet little bowl! This would make a great addition to a Candlewick collection. It is in excellent condition: no scratches. Cracks or chips. VTG RARE SIGNED CULVER GLASSWARE 22K GOLD CHIP+DIP / HORS D'OEUVRE BOWLS + PICS
This auction is for a vintage set of chip and dip or hors d'oeuvre bowls by Culver Ltd. We received these as a wedding gift in the 1960s. The two bowls. The bracket for the small bowl, and the 12 sword shaped plastic hors d'oeuvre picks are all included. Both bowl pieces have the Culver signature. It was commonly known at the time that the Culver glassware had 22K gold trim. The large bowl is 10" in diameter and 4 1/2" deep and the small dip bowl is 4" in diameter and 2" deep. It was rarely used and has been kept in a smoke and pet free home all these years. We have down-sized and just don't have room for it anymore. I believe this is a rare find.
