Here is an individual footed dish in irridescent carnival glass. Circa 1940s. It is a very pretty eyecatching dish, useable for desserts. Fruit, ice cream, whatever one would need it for. Perhaps someone out there has a set they need to fill in. It glows nicely in various lighting styles and almost looks like gold or silver depending. Sadly. It does have a chip. See pictures where I am pointing to it. It is on the bottom of the foot underneath on the edge. It does show unless turned in a display where it is out of sight. I am no expert thus do not know if such things can be repaired. The edge of the dish is scalloped prettily and the designin the bowl is almost like a sunburst. It is more expensive but worth it for your and my protection as EXPERIENCE has shown this to be the safest way to ship fragile items. This is for a lot of 9 pieces of soda fountain type glassware and is typical of the types that were used throughout the 19th century. The Tall Tulip type sunday dish is of very good quality glass and may even be Heisey- it's that nice. The 3 little sherbets were also used as sundae dishes for a small sundae or one dip of ice cream. Notice in the last picture there is a line in ... morethe glass. This is a black line(not a crack) and must have been some sort of error in pressing this piece. It looks like a piece of black slag strung through it. Very odd error but doesn't effect the usefullness or look of the piece. The Tulip is 6" high and 4 1/2" in diameter and the 3 shorter glasses are 3" high and 3 1/4" in diameter. Fenton Blue Opalescent Hobnail Glassware Lot #1
Up for auction today is a Fenton Blue Opalescent Hobnail Glassware Lot. This lot consists of 1-Mayonnaise Bowl with Plate And Spoon. The spoon did not come with the bowl. I added it. The bowl is about 2 3/8" tall, and about 4 1/2" wide. The plate is about 6" wide. The bowl has a few rough spots, and a few hobs that the tips are chipped off. They are not noticable unless you feel of the hobs, or look close, otherwise its a very nice set. 1-Creamer Set, which the sugar bowl and the creamer is about 2" tall, and about 2 1/2" wide. 1-Bonbon Dish which is about 6" wide, at the widest point of the ruffles. 1-Mini Basket which is about 5 5/8" tall, and about 3 1/2" by 4 3/4" wide. 1-Hobnail Pitcher which is about 5 5/8" tall, and about 2 3/4" wide. You are purchasing a Droopy 6" Glass Tumbler from the 1973 Pepsi Cola and M-G-M Collectors Series. I believe these glasses were a promotion at Taco Time Restaurants around the nation. The glass is in Very Good condition. There appears to be some light scratching at about the one inch mark toward the bottom of the glass. Probably from some child stirring up their favorite glass of Nestle Quick.

There is a 1/2 inch dark green ring on the bottom of the glass and a 1/2 inch light green ring above it. There are 14 black oblong intertwined rings running through the green bands.
