Excellent used condition. Vintage Corning Ware Electromatic Skillet. This is a great versatile appliance. It can be used as a skillet or hot plate or dish warmer. It's big e nough to hold the larger Corning dishes. T he heat ranges from 200 degre es to 425 degrees. The skillet has two large attached handles for ease of moving it around. It is a flatter appliance so can be stored easily. It measures 15" wide from handle to handle and the cooking surface measures 10.5" wide. The item heats up with n o problems- and it heats quickly. T.G. Hawkes Era Corning SIX Engraved Cut Crystal Wines Blue Willow Ware Pattern I just purchased this SET of(6) Engraved/ Cut Crystal Wines from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The wines are characteristic of the fine engraved crystal designs produced at T. G. Hawkes Co. in Corning. NY during the 1930's/ early 1940's. The Corning Museum of Glass has a goblet in their collection which is described as Hawkes' Blue Willow" pattern(the description sounds correct but the object is not on display) The wines are beautifully executed with delicate panel optic to the bell shaped bowls. The bowls are hand engraved with the elements of the"Willow" story; a towering pagoda, willow branches draped towards a harbor where a boat waits, and two doves/ pigeons hovering overhead. The hand applied teardrop stems are engraved ... morewith stylized willow boughs and a fine cross hatch pattern at the bowl juncture and foot. The wines show excellent clarity and have rich tone quality(there are a lot of reflections in the pics, the bowls are clean) The pieces measure 6 3/8" high, 3" across the top rim, 2 5/8" wide at the foot and hold(4) ounces. I don't see an acid stamped signature. ALL SIX of the stems are in excellent condition with no damage or noted wear. This charming set would make a nice addition to any collection of vintage Corning/ Hawkes engraved crystal or Blue Willow/ Willow Ware table setting. International bidders.
