This is a truly unusual vintage Art Deco black and brushed chrome double-sided beveled glass vanity hand mirror. It has a great Art Deco look about it. It is probably from the 1930s or 1940s. It has a standard mirror on both sides. When I first looked at it I was convinced it was bakelite. But it doesn't pass the"rub and smell test. It is in great condition with virtually no damage except for a couple of tiny dents on the chrome. But they're barely noticeable. The mirror has no marks or blemishes. It is marked with the company name Jewelite and the number 515 on the handle. It is also stamped U. S. A. right near that. 1997 DW DRUM WORKSHOP COLLECTORS SHELL PACK, KELLER ERA, GREY GLASS W/ BLACK N/R
You are bidding on a 5 piece shell pack of 1997. KELLER shell DW DRUM WORKSHOP COLLECTORS SERIES in the GREY GLASS FINISHPLY with BLACK HARDWARE. The sizes on this highly desriable drum kit are 18x22" Bass Drum, 8x10" mounted Tom, 9x12" mounted Tom, 11x14" mounted Tom and a 13x16" mounted Tom which normally means that you would be scrambling to find stands to mount all of those toms! But no- this auction also includes 3 of DW's heavy duty tom stands, each with a cymbal arm and a dog bone or stand mounted cymbal holder. But more about the drums: All drums are in round and most of the drums have the factory DW drumheads. The exception being the 16" tom. There is slight"bar fade" to the finish of these drums(being used) which cannot be seen unless the drums are completely disassembled, but all of the ... moreseams are tight on the finishply. The GREY GLASS was a limited production finish for DW in 1997 and it still shines on these drums! The bass drum hoops are in pretty good condition with the batter side hoop having the normal pedal rash. The black hoops and hardware do have signs of a used drum kit as these parts were painted rather than chromed. There are places where the paint has worn off on some of the lugs, hoops and bass drum spurs. As mentioned previously. Three DW heavy duty stands(pictured) ARE included in this auction which means that you will be able to simply add your snare drum and stand. Pedals, hi hat stand and cymbals and throne and be ready to play almost immediatley! The stands themselves are in good to fair condition as there is some marring to the shafts due to aprevious owner overtightening the wing nuts. The stands are still fully function and do come with the cymbal holders and dogbones or cymbal holder mount. ALSO- included in this auction are KACES bags for all of the drums. Presenting unique and unusual vintage, antique and collectable items. Great vintage glass cocktail shaker with chrome top. About 228mm(9 inches) high, an iconic shape. It features striped bands of orange, black and white. It is in good condition, but has obviously been used- the banding is faded/worn in spots, and the top shows some wear and loss of plating. There is some ninor wear along the top glass edge with one small fleabite, but no further chips or cracks. Please examine the photos carefully as they form an important part of the description.
