The eyepieces screw off so you can remove the lenses. The lenses included are dark hardened glass welding lenses. Really dark. But you can still see with them in light areas. These original lenses would be great templates for other custom lenses. You could cut perfect replacements, red or green or whatever. The original leather padded nose shroud piece is fully intact. The breach piece that connects the goggles is a cool braided type metal bar. The Bakelite is a tortoise swirl type cast. Really different. This would be great for a Cosplay or Steam Punk accessory or custom project. They remind me of the Night Owl from Watchmen They are also pretty neat for welding. ADJUSTABLE HEADGEAR STILL WORKS PROPERLY, ARTICULATING EYE GOGGLES MOVE INDEPENDTALLY, DROP APPARATUS STILL FUNTIONS FULLY AND GOGGLES STAY IN PLACE FIRMLY.
