The glasses have green glass lenses and the side shields are also green. Size: Standard Size Condition: Used In our opinion they are in good condition for their age. Lenses have gentle wear with a few minor scuff marks. One side sheild has a crack in it. Metal is slightly misshaped/dents in a few places. There are a few minor places on the glass that have what looks like a spot from something hot stuck to it. Metal shows some minor tarnish. The metal arms are covered with a protective coating and the coating has yellowed some over the years. We did clean them just a ... morelittle and it would not hurt to clean them a little more. I am not an expert in this area but I found another example of these aviation goggles on another listing that attribute them as American made“CESCO” Chicago Eye Safety Co. The black rubber strap that is tied to the elastic straps is marked“CESCO” I would not think that the rubber strap is original. But I will leave that up to the collectors to determine. Vintage military WWII USAAF aviator/ motorcycle goggles. Made by Cesco Co. They are in their original'military green' metal case. The case has green felt lining. Case is marked"B& L" in a triangle inside a circle, with"Made in USA" underneath the circle. The glass is tinted deep green on both the round lenses& the flip-out sides. Frames are metal. Ear wires have rubber-clad ends, nose guards are plastic. Stamped"Cesco 20" inside of nose bridge. In very good condition. Very light scratches to the very tops of lenses, case has some wear but closes fine. Offered'as found'
