~~ Please read the description below the photographs ~~ This listing is for a vintage Matsunaga Slide Voltage Regulator. Model 10-1261. Presumably from the 1950's or so. This unit was consigned to me in untested condition. I powered it up and on power-up the needle on the left meter jumped. As I turned the dial the needle moved. And with the dial at the 85 position the needle registered 100 volts. That's the extent of my testing. Old electronics scare me. LOL. The unit is in pretty good shape for its age. There is some wear on the front panel. As visible in my pictures. The meter on the left is marked: KYORITSU ELECTRIC INST. WORKS LTD. J1S-1102 KEW TYPE CLASS The right meter is marked as pictured and appears to have a bakelite housing. The cabinet measures 12 3/4" wide. 10 3/8" deep(measured to front of right dial housing) ... moreand 6 3/4" high. The power cord is in fair to good condition. At the time the pictures were taken. Vintage Heath Model CTW-1170 Alternator Voltage Regulator Tester Solid State
This is a very rare solid state voltage regulator tester. Made by the Heath Company. It is model#CTW 1170. It is untested but looks to be in excellent condition for its age. It certainly shows no signs of abuse. I'm not sure what all regulators can be tested with it but I am certain that it is made to test the early 70's-80's style internal GM regulators as shown in my photo. Sold as-is. I have no way to test it. Sorry.
