this Korg MS-01 foot controller is in excellent physical and working condition. it uses two 9v batteries. Which is slightly unusual for this pedal(usually uses only one) i have adjusted the pot so it produces just over 4v(positive or negative, see photos for voltage readings) the plastic is still on the label panels. there are a few very small chips in the finish here and there. bottom label is intact. this pedal was initially intended for use with the MS-10. Lyricon Wind Driver - Controller for Voltage-controlled Synthesizers
This is a Lyricon Wind Driver. Made by Computone in the early 80s. It is used like a woodwind to control a voltage-control synthesizer. The fingering is similar to a flute or sax, and the mouthpiece responds to wind pressure and biting pressure on the reed. It does not produce sound- it produces control voltages. It is not a MIDI controller. This unit is in excellent condition. It has been in storage for most of the last 30 years. I don't have a VC synth to test it on. But I put a volt meter across each of the control outputs, and they all appear to be outputting appropriate voltages in response to the keys and mouthpiece controls. I had a tech guy check it over a couple of years ago, and he replaced the old capacitors.
