1.5" Lathe Boring Bar Tool Holder Pratt & Whitney Sheldon South Bend Clausing
You are bidding on a nice old super heavy duty boring bar holder. The bore is 1.5" I am not sure what it was made for. It is stamped 12" P&W. Obviously you could modify this to fit any lathe. It measures 1-3/4" from the mounting surface to the center of the bore. The key is 1.25" and the clamping bar is 1.75" wide x.35" thick. The bore is in great shape. I am not sure you can buy them like this any more, but if you could it would be very expensive. Bid with confidence, you won't be disappointed. This was my dads. Im told it is a boring bar holder. It was found with a 1 3/16 bar in it but the hole is slightly larger. It measures 1.209. Not sure if thats for metric or not. Its about 2.5 inches long. This is just the first of this part of the warehouse. Many more to come. Thanks
