THIS IS A TOOL POST HOLDER FOR AN ADJUSTABLE INSERT THREADING TOOL OF HIGH SPEED STEEL. 60 DEGREE GRIND. LOOSEN THE KNOB THAT REQUIRES A SPANNER WRENCH THAT IS NOT INCLUDED, AND TURNING THE SCREW AT THE TOP MOVES THE CUTTER UP OR DOWN.THE CUTTER SIDE HOLDER HAS A SHIM BETWEEN THE CUTTER AND THE FORWARD PART OF THE HOLDER, I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS NEEDED, BUT I LEFT IT IN PLACE ANYWAY. WHEN THE CUTTER DULLS. YOU ONLY GRIND THE TOP OF THE CUTTER, VERY MINIMUM, JUST A HAIR, YOU CAN DO IT WITH A HAND HELD STONE.IT'S GOOD FOR THE FULL LENGTH, UNBELIEVEABLE AMOUNT OF USE FROM THESE CUTTERS.ALORIS HAS A SIMILAR UNIT.THE SCREW AT THE BACK ADJUSTS THE TOP ANGLE.THE SHANK IS 1" X 9/16ths"THE CUTTER IS MARKED, AND APPEARS TO BE FOR A RIGHT HAND THREAD, UP TO 12 TPI.THE HOLDER HAS SIGNS OF USE, WITH A FEW OLD PITS, BUT IS IN FINE SHAPE.THE CUTTER APPEARS TO BE UNUSED.A VERY NICE, HEAVY DUTY TOOL. ~~~* YOU MUST TIGHTEN THE CLAMP BEFORE USE.I DON'T HAVE
