KDK 161/205 Quick Change 1.5" Boring Bar Tool Holder
An excellent condition quick change genuine KDK tool holder for 1.5" boring bars. It is marked KDK 161 in the dovetail and 205 on the top. There is a small rough area on one end seen in the last picture. Usually contact with the chuck leaves a arc of roughness but this appears linear and the original bluing is present in the rough area suggesting that the blank from which it was made may not have cleaned up on that end. All and all it is in excellent condition and will fill your needs for a 1.5" boring bar holder. Comes exactly as shown in the pictures. I do not accept international orders.

Tool post rocker type holder. I think it came off of a 12 or 14 inch southbend but not sure. The bottom dia. that fits in the compound is 1 1/2 dia(please note that a portion is ground off but should still work fine) and the holder shaft is 1.20 inches and the concave ring is 3 inch dia. The boring bar holder is for a 3/4 inch boring bar and is an Armstrong. Fits this tool post holder. it is 1.20 inches wide by 1/2 inch thick and 6 inches long. Priority mail flat rate of 5.85 in USA. These items will be from either the machine shop or the prototype shop, and they all appear to be in good condition. Style H 75- B8A. I am fairly certain that this is a BXA size holder and will fit Dorian, Aloris, and other quick change tool posts of this size.
