E' perfetta: nessuna botta o graffio, nessun segno di riparazioni. Naturalmente il cannello e la campana sono in argento massiccio sterling silver(non argentate) Lo strumento è pronto e facile da suonare. Il suono è ricco e corposo ed è impossibile rompere il suono. My 10 1/2 Bach fits really well as well as a Bob Reeves MPC I had laying around. It seems the MPC'S that are the fatter ones are snugger ones. The serial numbers( 13887) on valves match the one on the horn. See pic 5. 6, and 7) I checked the h or n with no oil on valves The slides all pop really well! There is a tiny bit of side play when you joggle the valve stems. I would say very little sl op I checked the compression by removing the slides and putting the valves all the way down. Then I put my finger over the removed slide openings and blew. Valve 3 No air leak if any when I blew hard. Valve 2 No air leak if any when I blew hard. Valve 1 No air leak if any when I blew hard. So My conclusion is the compression is great for suc h an old horn! Also checked the air flow thru entire horn by holding down all three val ves. No air if any. Offered is an original United States Springfield Krag Jorgenson rifle Barrel. I believe that this barrel would be proper on either a Model 1896 or Model 1898 US Krag rifle. This barrel is in very good condition overall and still retains much of it's original blued finish. This barrel has a bright. Shiny bore and looks to have been fired very little. The barrel threads and chamber look to be in great shape. The barrel has not been cut or altered in any way and is still 30" long which is proper rifle length. The front sight is still present and unaltered. Vintage Holton Model 48 Revelation L Bore Professional Trumpet - Exc Condition
Up for consideration is a beautiful Vintage Holton Model 48 Revelation Professional trumpet. Serial# 82.619. L Large bore.462" LP' Low Pitch. Reversed leadpipe with patented slide lock to hold the tuning slide in position. Normally the'Revelation' model had a ML.459" bore but I measure this horn to have a.462" L bore at the 2nd valve slide. It is possible that this is a very early'LLewelln' model as he joined Holton about the time this horn was built. The previous owner stated that he sent it and had it restored by the Holton Factory. I do not know excactly how long ago the restoration was done but the quality of the work was top notch. It has a beautiful gold lacquer finish with no dents and no evidense of any solder or repair work ever. Please look through the pictures to see the horns' fine condition. ... moreThe horn was just professionally serviced. It was completely disassembled and cleaned by hand. A horn like this does not belong in a chem. bath in my opinion. The valves were assembled with all new springs. Felts, and pads. The valves were aligned. The valves have very good compression. The slides'pop' very nicely. The spit valve spring was replaced and a new black rubber spit valve pad was installed. The horn was assembled using the highest quality synthetic lubricants available. A coat of'Lacquer Life' was applied to preserve the horn as well. The valves are very fast, very smooth, light, and very quiet. They have that'buttery' feeling. The horn has no dents and shows no evidence of ever having any dent work done to it which is amazing considering its age. The beautiful gold lacquer is about 98% with only some small tarnish spots starting to emerge around the 3rd valve slide area. The leadpipe has no red rot or pitting. The horn plays very well and is actually one of the best jazz horns made at the time. I have for auction a fantastic Conn Victor made in 1938. It has a.484 bore with serial number 319231. You can feel a slight crease in the bell and please look at the one picture of the one slide. It has a rather sever dent in it. It and all of the slides make a pop sound when pulled out. There is no hole in the damaged slide. The valves show no wear. No pitting and are smoothe and move freely. The silver plate is intact with no wear marks whatsoever. The engraving and scroll work are just beautiful. It comes with an original Conn Case. And is newly refurbished from Kanstul Musical Inst’s, Inc. Like the earliest CG trumpets built for Mr. Gordon. This modern retrofit is a custom order to the"L" base horn. And was done at the Kanstul Co. This free-blowing. Lightweight, large bore horn is an exceptional instrument. It was first purchased from Giardinelli's Manhattan NY store. And its s/n is 21971. Which has had only one previous owner. Considering its age, the horn has had only minor repairs. Prior to its previous sale. It was thoroughly chem-cleaned. And no sustained play since. The valves and slides are tight and smooth. And additionally, ... morethe valves were aligned at Bob Reeves' shop in LA. Where it is also registered. This trumpet would be an excellent primary horn. Or a fine addition to your go-to selection of horns, depending upon the performance venues. The trumpet was recently submitted to the Repair Dept. at Kanstul. Where it was evaluated by Zig Kanstul himself. And given recommendations for work to be accomplished with consideration towards a Claude Gordon conversion: NEW CG bell} NEW CG leadpipe} CG model specs) NEW CG tuning slide crook} Buff hand-hold locations where the tubing’s thickness would allow* Polish. Then a generous silver-plate of about one ounce! The resulting horn is a 1977 Benge 6X in Bb. Retrofit& restored to Claude Gordon model spec's. This Benge has the original"L" valve block. Marked on the 2nd valve casing. And the new thin-gauge brass bell from Kanstul was made with the original Benge tooling and mandrel. And remains unmarked. All of the new parts. This is a very early one-the bell is marked Faciebat Anno 1928, and the serial number is 875. Yamaha ML bore Xeno Trumpet with Rose Brass Bell
This lacquered Yamaha Xeno model 8335G has a gold brass bell and comes in a gig bag with a Blessing 5C mouthpiece. A Yamaha 16C4-GP mouthpiece and a bottle of Hetman synthetic valve oil. There was a dent removed in the bell stem near the mouthpipe to bell brace front which left some scarring, otherwise the only other immediately obvious blemish is some lacquer wear at the point where the right thumb rests between the 1st and 2nd valve casing. As above there's a bit of flux bleed on the front bell brace but it is benign. It's a nice playing trumpet with a darker sound than the standard yellow brass bell. It comes to you clean and ready to go.

It has mismatched serial numbers. With 67xxx on ... morethe slide(from the mid 80s) and 29xxx on the bell section(from the late 70s) The lacquer is almost completely gone from the hand slide, however the plating on the inner tubes shows no sign of wear. There is one small dent in the hand slide crook(pictured) and one or two ping dents in the tuning slide. There is no other structural damage to this horn, and there certainly isn't anything that would impair this horn's playability or its beautiful sound. The tuning slides and rotor move freely and easily, and the plating on the inner handslide tubes is suberb. You can see in the pictures that there is some lacquer wear on the handslide, but there aren't any pink traces that might indicate red rot. The case is included with the auction and is in good shape; there is a little wear on the exterior, but the interior of the case is in great shape. Rare Bach Large Bore 43/72 Lightweight Trumpet
For sale. Early 70's vintage Bach Strad 43/72* lightweight, in rare large bore configuration. I have included a set of Bach heavy valve caps in silver plate, a spare New York Bach style tuning slide made by Dave of“Dave's Trumpet Page, and a Bob Reeves receiver ring. The horn has brass valve guides(stock) and is old enough that is has a two-piece nickel/silver valve cluster. I do not have pictures if the receiver ring or the heavy valve caps. The plating is in excellent shape for a 30 year old horn. There are a couple of small dings from mute insertions. The 104.Xxx serial number of the horn places the date of manufacture in 1974. The Bach website lists serial numbers and dates of manufacture if you wish to verify. The 72 bell gives the horn a strong powerful sound. Which is darker than the Bach 37 bell and projects better. The 43 ... morelead pipe has less resistance than a standard Bach 25 lead pipe and also a brighter sound. The large.462" bore makes this horn play more open than a ML 43/72* but it is not so large that is tires one out quickly. Dave's slide, which I have included in this sale, makes the horn slightly freer blowing and gives a slightly brighter sound. This is a very versatile horn. You can play lead on it or play in an orchestra or concert band. The large bore configuration is very rare for a 43/72 lead pipe/bell combination. This sale does not include a case or mouthpiece. Roth Reynolds Contempora Trumpet - Large bore beautiful horn and great player
The Contempora was the premier trumpet of the Reynold/Roth-Reynolds line at the time it was manufactured. This one has serial number 38326. Indicating a manufacture date around 1958-59. I bought this horn several years ago, and it was in excellent mechanical condition, but the lacquer was heavily worn, and after playing it for a while I decided it was worthwhile getting it refinished. In 2011 I had it plated in silver with gold plating of the tone ring and inner bell. Unfortunately, I have found it necessary recently to sell off many of the horns I have collected and used over the years, and this is one of them. This horn is truly beautiful to look at but, more importantly, it plays beautifully as well. It is a large bore horn, 0.462" but I have found it doesn't seem to require any more effort to fill the horn with air than many ... moreother smaller bore trumpets. It has a wonderful tone, with a real sparkle in the upper register, and good intonation throughout its range. It is in excellent mechanical condition with strong valve compression and with all moving parts, including the first valve slide trigger, operating smoothly. The valve piston stoke is short, making for easier fingering of fast pieces and difficult passages. All parts are original except for the rod that is part of the third valve slide stop mechanism; that was missing when I bought the horn, and I replaced it. There are no dents or dings on the horn, at most a few slight surface rubs and very tiny surface scratches. The trumpet will ship in its original case. Which is in quite good condition with latches and springs in tact. Also included is a Reynolds 7B mouthpiece in very good condition. I think the winner will really enjoy this horn. This is a beautiful silver plated E-Benge Resno-Tempered hand built ML trumpet with the#5 bell. Hand made and hand hammered bell are famous and built in Los Angeles in the mid 1980's. Do not buy a new trumpet for your serious student. This trumpet is of better quality than a new one. This trumpet has been played but is in better than average condition. There are no large dings but several small ones that are not very deep. These are from normal wear. The silver is very good with no spots missing. This trumpet has not been over polished and therefore the silver is still intact. The case is the original Benge case and in very good condition cosidering its age. The horn is in good working condition. All valves and slides move freely and it plays great. It's one of the easiest playing Strads I've played, with a nice open and lively sound. I played this horn throughout grad school and have owned it for about 8 years. Cosmetically it's in fair condition with a lot of signs of use. No major dings/dents however and nothing that affects its performance or playability. Just small indentations throughout the bell area mostly as well as a few areas where the finish has been worn down. Very Nice Professional Vintage Trumpet serial 42505 During the last decade I have collected and play many professional trumpets. I have been particularly impressed with the vintage Benge trumpets. Zig Kantsul has been successfully involved with many professional trumpets and these Benge horns represents some of his finest efforts. This horn is one of the best players I have used. There are no issues with the vales and the compression is excellent. The slides are free and smooth which makes it a real joy to play. Type J-1 for 50 and 20MM rifles. it looks like all the parts are there. the box is in great shape and closes. there is a little bit of overspray on the outside of the box. But should be able to get it off with denatured alcolol or similar product. I have personally had this for 15 years and to be honest I cannot remember where i got it. im pretty sure it was from a storage facility, but not 100% I asked around and someone told me it's from WWII. It has been stored and i have no use for it.

SELMER MARK VI s/n 183,XXX (SMALL BORE)
This is a small bore Mark VI. Somewhere in the 180K-185K s/n range. A few Mark VI's were produced that had cone bores ranging about 15/1000 inches smaller than normal. This produces a more focused and slightly brighter sound, but still a SelmerMARK VI. It has recent pads that work well. The body bow and bell are straight true and solid. It could be an old relacquer. The horn looks good aside from the usual lacquer wear. The neck is original is original and has recently been to the shop of Aaron Barnard who trued it to shape and re-rounded the bore from tip to tenon, and it now plays better than new. With original endcap. Good case. No strap No mouthpiece. Sold as is. Customer must pay actual shipping and insurance costs.

Wonderful Bach Strad. Serial 8XXX mfg in New York approx. 1948. Photocopy(included) of inspection tag says#7 leadpipe and#37 bell. Medium bore which is.453. Lacquer is showing some age but I put it at 80% Valves function well and have good compression. No rot, rust or dings to report.and everything works fine. The 3rd stopper nut is not original but I believe everything else is! The bell appears to have had some smoothing out out near the end but otherwise in very fine shape. The 37 bell is just right for most playing, IMHO. And the 7 leadpipe is a treat-open and responsive; perfect for this bore size. The horn plays extremely well with an easy blowing nature. Nice warm sound and surprisingly good upper register. Slotting is solid, valves are quiet and smooth and intonation is typical Bach.
