Lot 4 Vintage Probes Micronta Philips Test Equipment
All of these items show signs of wear and use. But all appear to be in good condition. The smaller red and black probe has no name or numbers on it. The larger gray one with the red cord is a Philips PM8918. It spring on the end is working well. The red one is a Micronta and states 1200v max. The last piece is a coax with twin alligator clips. Again, no name or numbers. All of the equipment I will be listing has been stored in an indoor workshop in a temperature controlled environment and was working when stored. None of the equipment has been tested. There are seven boxes of manuals that came from this home and we are going through them to match up with the equipment. The probe connections on this one have screw down type connectors, while on the others they have the banana plug type connectors. The ADJUST knob is a little different too. There are instructions in the top inside of the lid and there is a No. 271 Test Standard 0.0025 Ohm test bar mounted inside the lid. These instructions look like most older military instructions. All knobs, switches, push button, probe screws move freely. Also, on other models I have seen, the closures on the case are different. Has a plate on the bakelite surface that says SERIAL NO. 21367 MANUFACTURED BY SHALLCROSS MFG. CO. COLLINGDALE, PA. U.S.A. Others I have seen were from Selma, N.C. The bottom section of the unit has two wires, + and- where the 1.5V dry cell batterys hook up to power the unit. Vintage Eico Vacuum Tube Tester Model 625 Electronic Test equipment
This tester seems to work ok. Occasionally I would have to flip or rotate the switches a couple of times to get it to work. The more I used it. The better it seemed to work. I'm not for sure but it would seem that maybe some of the contacts need cleaned, maybe blown out? Also the needle seems to jump or jitter around while testing, I don't know if this is normal. The face plate is in pretty good condition with some minor dings and scuffs. The outer housing is missing a lot of the finish and has some minor surface rust. I'm not sure if the two light bulbs on the lower corners are working. They had never came on when I tested a few tubes. It looks like the power cord may have been replaced. The information/data scroll has one small spot that had been tore and taped back together(see picture) My knowledge of things of this nature ... moreare minimal. Bristol's Vintage Air Test Equipment Clock Work Wind Meter No Reserve
Vintage Bristol's Test Equipment Serial# 472480/ Chart of Scale 94/Chart Drive 24 HR. Range 0-25 oz. Bristol Co. Waterbury Conn. This was purchased from a now-retired gas pump repair person that worked in Nev. county Ca. for 40 years. He told me this was part of his test equipment. And that it tested low air pressure. He did tell me that it worked when he last used it. I do not have the kjnowledge to test this item. It is sold as is. He also mentioned that he plugged the back inlet, to keep atmosphere from entering the unit. It has a clock like key that appear to be brass it is mounted in its holder(see pic) to the left of that is a eye dropper bottle with what appears to be ink, the top rubber, is deteriorated and the container is in a plastic bag to keep from leaking. There is one paper disk that fits under the needle arm, the needle ... moreis intact, and I assume ink would be used to refill this needle. Measures approx 17" x 11 1/2" x 5 3/4" Pull the lever towards you to unlock the unit. The weight of this is over 15 lbs. When wound, the disk operated like a 24 hr. clock, you can even hear it ticking. The small piece in a pic appears to be a part from the broken lock on the latch(the lock is completely missing except for the small piece. This is a unique item. Rare indeed! Due to weight, no returns excepted.

Vintage Hickok Model 288x Signal Generator Ham radio Test Equipment Frequency
Vintage Hickok Model 288x Signal Generator Working Test Equipment What we have up for auctions is a Hickok model 288x signal generator. As you can see in the pictures the unit powers up and produces a wave form pattern. I am sure that's not calibrated and need fine tuning since it is well over 60 years old. Before anyone ask. You are bidding on the Hickok unit, the oscilloscope is not part of the deal. What you are getting is a vintage Hickok signal generator that does produce wave patterns. Unlike some you might buy that your not sure of what your getting. The only thing that I noticed on it that need attention was the slip coupling for changing the frequency is a little loose. This coupling is designed to prevent damage to the unit when changing frequencies by slipping when you go to far left or right. Any question please ask. Posted ... morewith
