This is a very cool discontinued item from Marmot. Very good condition. The Black Magic Sleeping Bag Liner(or ultralight summer weight bag +55) stuffs down very small and weighs a mere 16 ounces. This bag is approx. 78" in length and 32" at the top. It originally came with a 3/4 length zipper. But I had it professionally altered to remove the zipper and leave it about 5/6 open. Much easier to use. Kostiner 4 blade adjustable masking frame/ enlarging easel with maximum aperture size 20 x 20 inches. In very good working order. Have just finished a series of 18x18 inch images in monochrome and this has done the job extremely well. It has a spring loaded opening mechanism that allows the photographic paper to be placed with relative ease. A Pen liner is also included. Note the photograph shows a white base- this is the back side of a large piece of photo paper as the frame's base is black. Further it can be noted that some masking tape has been stuck to some corners- this does not mean that it is broken- i have always had the tendency to frame within the paper and like to ensure that the blades are absolutely in line down to the nearest millimeter. I will began by saying that I don't know anything about this violin so please ask all questions before bidding. The violin is in my opinion in good used condition. It has obviously been played alot but has been well cared for. It measures approx. 23 1/2" long and there is a sticker inside which says" copy of Antonius Stradiuarius made in Germany" This is a paper label which I have tried to show a photo of but as it is inside it is difficult. The violin comes in a very nice hard case with plush felt like zippered liner and two compartments whch hold the items shown in the photos. There is no damage except what you would expect from the usual wear you would see from an instrument of this age. The bow looks to be in good condition and appears to have a very hard wood on the ends with ivory as well. there is also what appears ... moreto be a conductors baton in the case next to the bow. English sterling silver and glass mustard pot made in London in 1814. The pot has an English sterling silver mustard ladle from 1810. The pot is done in a classic form and is raised on four bun or ball feet. The hinged lid has a thumb rest and the front is engraved with a great crest of an armored forearm/hand holding up an arrow. The pot has its original, cobalt blue thick glass liner. The pot and its lid are marked with the lion passant for sterling silver and a date letter T for the year 1814. The side of the pot is also marked with the crowned leopards head for London and a duty mark of King George IIIs head. The makers mark on the pot is too worn to determine. The spoon is ... moremarked with the lion passant. A duty mark, a date letter P for the year 1810 and a makers mark for Robert Rutland. This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age. This is an original WWII US M1 Helmet in untouched condition. Shell is marked with the Original Embarkation Chalk markings on the front and rear. The front is chalked with the roster number.55" and the rear has the NCO bar. Helmet shell is heat stamped in the brim, 896G" Shell has the original factory paint and Chinstraps were modified for the Early 1945 pattern Chinstraps. Female end is the correct 1943 era with the"ball" added. The male end chinstrap was replaced completly in early 1945 era. Liner is a Westinghouse lot 34 and Marked SSG Michelbach, possibly James L. Hello. Up for bid is a WW2 Gunners M3 Flak helmet. The helmet is old and dirty but its just the way a used combat helmet should look. This one has not been repainted or given a new liner. Its all original. The liner is in very good shape but shows age and wear. The wool or felt ear flap pieces have long since been gone. Hinges work good and look good. The chin strap is the only real broken piece. It needs a partial replacement. There is some original paint but its mostly gone. Great display piece. Looked good on my gunners mannequin. Vintage DERBY SILVERPLATE Ice Water Pitcher Silver plate/ Enamel Liner HUGE! I did not try to clean this in case someone wanted the vintage look! This pitcher is huge! It weighs over 5 lbs. and it is approx. 14" tall. The bottom diameter is 7 1/8" and the top diameter is 5 3/4" The inside has an enamel insert(cannot be removed) that has very minor spotting on the bottom. This is still very usable. There are no huge dents in this or like damage.it does have a very couple minor dings that are really hard to see and I couldn't get them to show up in photos with the exception of one on the lip near the spout(that's the worst one and it looks much worse in the photo than in person) Other sellers would likely describe this as"wear consistent with age" but I try to be as detailed as possible. He's On A Boat That Sailed Last Wednesday He's Coming Home. 1913(Joe Goodwin/Lew Brown) large format song with lyrics, published by Leo Feist, NYC, photos of the Mauretania and its smoking and dining rooms. The lyrics mention the 5-day crossing, a speed record the Mauretania held for 22 years, until 1929. Condition is good. Slight wear, a small margin tear and partial spine separation repaired inside with thin archive tape. The back cover has a black stain at the top, not affecting the inside or cover. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint. Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Ile de France 1927 A detailed blueprint of the most luxurious Transatlantic Liner of her day. The Ile de France. She was launched on March 14, 1926 at the Penhoet Shipyards at St. Nazaire France. In her first-class cabins, there were so many different styles of decoration that each was considered to be unique. Her bar was claimed as the largest afloat, and her main restaurant, also largest afloat, rose three decks high, and had a grand staircase for an entrance. Her grand foyer rose four decks, and the chapel was done in gothic style with fourteen pillars. Furthermore, the ship had a shooting gallery, a merry-go-round, and a gymnasium. She had a long and colorful life. During WW2 she was converted to a troop ship and after the war refitted and returned to her Transatlantic route. AEF 26th Yankee Division Painted YD OD Combat Helmet w Liner British Model D/04
This listing represents a first for me. Here you have a painted WWI British Model Helmet issued to a member of the American Expeditionary Forces. 26th Yankee Division. The Doughboy's OD Helmet features a painted YD to the front. The helmet is complete with liner and chisntrap. The helmet has the OD Green, Pebbled Combat Paint with dabs of paint that could be construed as a crude attempt at camouflage. The British Model Helmet is stamped D/04. The interior retains the felt padding. The British rubber donut ring to the crown, and a very dry leather liner. The leather is stiff and delicate, so please be careful. The chinstrap is present and intact with the buckle. The strap is buckled. It is dry and crazed and, again, must be handled carefully. The crown retains the brass rivet and features a pebbled combat paint finish with what I believe ... moreare dabs of a different color similar to mud or earth. The pebbled finish was achieved by mixing sand with paint. There are no gouges and the rim is in place with about three inches of separation. There are a series of dents to the crown. There is normal rust to the exterior and interior. The swivel bales are nicely intact as is the liner. To the front of the helmet are the capital letters YD for the 26th Yankee Division. The YD is subdued and faded but can definitely be made out. Also the helmet is a good size and fits my 7 1/4 cap size head. The photographs with my hand holding the helmet has created an optical illusion. Something that has happened when I have photographed caps and helmets while holding them. Rest assured, it is a normal, full size World War I Combat Helmet. Under the command of Colonel Edward Logan. The 101st Infantry of the Yankee Division was the first National Guard outfit to enter the lines in France during World War I. The 101st launched the first raid against the Germans by American Troops. It was the first attack supported by American Artillery. The Yankee Division went on to fight in the following campaigns; Lorraine, Ile-de-France, Champaign– Marne
