Tray is 21-1/2 inches in diameter and 1-3/4 inches high(it has feet on the bottom) There is a"DIP" on one side of the tray. Tray has grapevine pattern. Ice Bucket is 11-1/4 inches high(including handle) and 7-1/2 inches in diameter. It has a hinged lid and a Pyrex insert. No pattern. Pre-Civil War Silver Egg Warmer with Whale Oil Cooker
This auction is for a Silver Egg Warmer that dates from before the Civil War. The warmer or cooker is dated by the Walker Safety Lamp that is used as a heat source. The lamp is dated 1850 and 1853 and burns Whale Oil. In addition to the date the Whale Oil industry was pretty much killed off by the Civil War and other sources replaced it after the war. The warmer is in very good condition with only some wear to the silverplate on the top. It is 13" tall.

BEAUTIFUL BLUE& WHITE JAPANESE ANTIQUE CERAMIC HIBACHI/ HAND WARMER Gorgeous Japanese pottery hibachi with wonderful underglaze blue decoration. Featuring baskets overflowing with peonies and cherry blossoms. As one looks closer there are small birds upon the baskets, and exquisite borders around the top and bottom edges. At the upper rim, small goldfish swim gracefully. The top lip is further ornamented with scrolling floral patterns. The artistic design wraps completely around the piece. Lovely from any angle. Has a marvelous, serene presence. Used to heat homes and teahouses in Japan for hundreds of years during the Shogun era by being filled with ash topped with charcoal, today these antique hibachi make wonderful planters, storage pieces, or fireplace kindling containers. This spectacular example measures approximately 8 1/4" ... moreacross and 8 3/8" high. In excellent antique condition exhibiting just minor wear commensurate with age and use.
