These shelves were used for a point of sale monitor. Printers and as a wall mounted phone station. mounted to a wall this unit provides 16" x 18" flat surface. base is taper and expands out to 18" x 19" with an 8" rise. Could be used as a riser to provide an 8" lift to an item on a table. there is a 2" hole inther back right corner to pass cables. there is a rubber grommet cover edges of hole eliminating sharp edges of hole. very nice and quality stainless steel. nsf rated
