It was originally bolted to the front of a city transit bus. It does come with a 3/8" steel mounting plate. Probably the best way to mount it would be to fabricate a 2" receiver mount. But your particular application may be different. This would be a great rack for most any vehicle with a hitch. I think it would also be perfect for an RV. It will carry bicycles with tire diameters from 20" to 27" Including 700c, and up to 2.35" wide. Velo Orange VO Constructeur Front Rack Polished Stainless Steel Bike
The constructeur front rack is a medium sized front rack that is attached to a fork's front dropout eyelets. It's made from polished tubular stainless steel. Just like VO's other racks. It has eyelets for lights and a fender mount. Ideally. The tang at the back is attached to the fender boss under the fork crown, or you may use the included fork crown daruma. The tang may also be bent up and attached to the brake bolt. The platform is about 23 x 10cm. It weighs 425g. There are three holes in the lower tang so it fits most bikes with 26" 650b, 700c, or 27" wheels. This rack does not fit bikes with suspension forks or disc brakes. This was installed once. And the tang that bolts to the fork crown shows marks from that installation. This will not affect function.

Less than a hundred miles with full fenders on this stainless steel rack. It really does look like titanium in color. I don't know how they did that. It's almost a champagne color. It doesn't seem to be painted at all. Or powder coated. It's got a matte, non-reflective, sand-blasted finish, and detachable stainless steel"feet" with loops to hook a bungie cord to. Very nice condition. Comes with all mounting hardware(not shown) All bolts carefully greased prior to gentle assembly. The only caveat is that I trimmed the struts down to about 6 inches. As shown in the last picture, so be sure it'll fit your bike. There a rear light mount with holes at the standard 50mm spacing. There are pump pegs spaced at 235mm. Maximum load is 25kg, or about 55lbs. Note that this rack is intended for real touring frames. So if your frame has short chain stays and you have big feet, there might be heel clearance issues. Matching front low-rider racks should arrive by late summer. Velo Orange front and rear camper racks are also in the works. But they will be considerably more expensive. This is a sturdy stainless steel rack intended for loaded touring.
