This silverplated pot was likely made for hot water to make tea. It is a fairly unusual old piece of hotel ware made by International Silver for the Hilton Savoy. It is marked on the front with the hotel logo. The base is marked International Silver Company Silver Soldered Savoy Hilton SF0642 1/2 16 oz. The photo of the bottom makes it look rusty. But it is just the reflection. It is in average condition. It is heavily tarnished and has dents around the bottom of the pot and some around the base edge and one on the bottom. The interior is pretty clean and in good condition. It is still well put together and would display well when cleaned. It stands about 6 1/2" tall. It dates from around the late 1950s. Vintage Murray Hot Rod Hemi Pedal Car "Fire Drag On" 1960's RARE!!
Vintage Rare Murray Hemi Fire Drag On Pedal car. Original& Unrestored. NOT a Reproduction. I've been told by collectors that this is from early 60's. Near Mint Original condition. There is a small blemish of surface rust on one side about the size of a quarter in photo 12. Car is metal. Engine is chromed plastic and shows very slight wear in areas but hardly noticable. Hubcaps are chromed plastic. No cracks or chips. There is a tiny surface scratch in front just under hood in photo 8. The only real signs of original wear present are scratches& minor paint loss on the pedal rods underneath. The decals are new reproductions& are on thin magnetic backing for instant removal. I have only seen 3 of these since either advertised on Ebay or in private collections. All were in extremely poor condition with missing& broken ... moreplastic parts. The"Fire Drag On" paint scheme on each I've seen have been identical with the exception of another version called the"Green Thing" which had a different paint scheme altogether& different wheels. What is unique about this"Fire Drag On" are the whitewall tires& dog dish type hubcaps. The hubcaps I've seen on other Fire Drag On's were like baby moons.
