This particular leaf of the 1483 Latin Bible is unusually marvelous, because someone who read this Bible(either the 15th century"rubricator" who added the red, blue, and gold ink to the page OR a late 15th century or an early 16th century contemporary reader who added the drawing of a"hand" in ink) is literally pointing out to his modern reader what he thinks is an important, worthwhile scriptural passage. He does this with a hand-drawn human hand having an elongated index finger or"POINTER FINGER" see the first two scanned images) This"Pointer Finger" device is very unique. And I have never seen this in any other manuscript or printed Bible text-except in a very few leaves of this particular 1483 Latin Bible! Also. This leaf has several book ... moreworm holes in the paper. A very large leaf from a Latin Vulgate Bible published in Venice in 1483 by the printer. Johannes Herbort. It is outstanding edition of the Latin Bible, one of the Fontiubus ex Graecis editions, a series of corrected Latin Bibles, which claim for themselves-apparently with justice-a superiority above all contemporary edition, according to Darlow and Moule, vol. II, p. 911. This is just twenty-eight years after Gutenberg's 1st Bible of 1455! RARE! Vintage ANSON Personalized cologne NEW IN BOX 92.5 Sterling Silver 1960's Up for auction VERY RARE Vintage"Anson" personalized men's cologne brand new in box! This cologne was produced only once in 1965 and sold only in jewelry stores. It was made by a silver company called Anson from Providence. RI which has been out of business since 1994. The cap of the cologne is 92.5 Sterling Silver and the cologne is brand new. Never opened or used. The cap is engraved with the Anson logo and the words STERLING SILVER around the outside(pic#6) although it was hard to capture the image with my camera. I am not sure of the weight of the silver since the cap has a hard plastic insert inside of it to with the threading to screw the cap to the bottle. I am selling this more as a rare vintage novelty than actually for the silver content ... moresince I cannot assess how much the actual silver weighs or how much it may be worth.
