This is an aesthetic movement plate with a brown transfer print which has been hand colored. It shows a crane. Lagoon and blossoms. It is 7& 3/4" across and marked on the base"Bamboo, H& C. I have looked in Godden's marks book and believe the mark is from Hammersley& Co. of England. the plate is in nice cndition with a tiny bit of wear to the color around the edge and a couple of shallow utensil scratches, but no chips, cracks or repairs.

Antique Vintage Gas Stove William M. Crane & Co. NY
This is a very cool old stove that was found in outdoor st orage. Hence the rust. The maker was known for manufacturing ovens and stoves. I would guess the date to be early 1900's? This is made of cast iron. And I can only guess that it was some kind of stove or grill? There is a heating element in the center and inlets for what I wou l d assume to be a gas supply. There also look s to be a center grate that's missing as well as an exterior guard that's missing. One of the g rates has a small hairline crack. Otherwise all of the grates are in good shape(see final pic) The legs have a great detail, see photos for condition. This could be lots of things. If not restored to it's original condition. I believe it to be from around the 1930's.But it is not dated-The nice colorful frame has" crane co" on the bottom.Overall I thought it was in very good condition. The believe certificate itself appears good overall,but does show a bit of discoloration near the top. W.R. Crane Sheriff Kaufman Co., Texas Ranger, Texas Prison System Tranfer Agent
I obtained this rare 1912 Sunset-Central Lines RR pass a while back. I was able. During my research, to find out quite a bit of information about W.R. Crane. He was first, in 1894, a deputy sheriff under sheriff Keller in and around Elmo, Texas. Later he became Sheriff of Kaufman County, Texas from 1904 to 1914. He also served as Vice President and President of the Texas Sheriffs Association from 1912 to 1913. He then joined the Texas Prison System as a Transfer Agent and Guard working with in famous Uncle'Bud" Russell who never lost a prisoner. He was also a Special Texas Ranger during different times in his life. His Enlistment, Oath of Service, and Description Ranger Force paper is signed by Lee Simmons, the man that signed up Texas Ranger Frank Hamer to track down"Bonnie and Clyde. The Guard Badge was obtained later to go ... morewith the display. It is hallmarked on the back but my eyes are not good enough to read it. You get the original 1912 RR Pass of Sheriff Crane and the authentic Guard Badge along with COPIES of all the information I was able to find out about him. The Pelton & Crane Co. Sterilizer-Type/Model 216-110 Volt-11 AMP-Works Great!
Up for auction is Pelton& Crane Sterilizer. Model 216. It has been in my family since new. My father was a GP here in NC and practiced medicine from 1938 thru 1973. I am not sure when he purchase it, but I do remember it being in his office when I was as young as 8 years old(1956) I have checked this and it heats fine. It has three setting for heat: Fast, Medium and Slow. It also has a temp setting from 200 degrees to 300 degrees. I have had it stored for many years and just decided to sell it. I checked it out to make sure it worked and it did. The inside compartment is 16" long by 6 inches wide and about 4" deep. It has a small tray and a full length tray. From what I can see, I think it was made of brass and chromeplated over that. The cord is fine. Also, it comes with a wall mounting bracket. This is how he had it mounted ... morein his office. I am setting a price I feel is reasonable, but will also accept offers on this unit. The shipping weight with the sterilizer and bracket is about 25 lbs. The weight of the unit with bracket is about 19 lbs, but the box and packing material are about 5-6 pounds more. Shipping includes insurance as well. Thanks. Full label on the back, slightly worn but readable. Good metal beat scale. 8 day, time only, 12 inches dial, original hands, and running. Not shown in the Waterbury trade catalogs. The"Experts" tell me these cases were sold only to Coca Cola for their use as advertising clocks. The Coca Cola paper dial looks to be old, but is easily read and the clock is in overall extremely good condition. This 5" quartz optical flat appears to my eye to be in EXCELLENT condition; I don't see any scratches or nicks. Exterior of the box is VERY GOOD condition; interior foam is VERY GOOD on top cover but FAIR on bottom(perhaps chemicals/sweat on human hands have caused it to deteriorate?
