I'm selling this set of 3 used wind turbine fiber blades. They are 50cm long. With a hole spacing of 22mm. This are the blades used on iSTA Breeze turbines. They spin extremely fast(I've seen them) Please note. These are very high rpm blades, for low torque generators like iSTA Breeze or Air Breeze, wich are non cogging and start charging at relatively high rpm usually only after 400rpm with peak of power at 900rpm(like many Chinese wind turbines) I bought them for a DC Motor. But that motor starts charging at 200RPM, and at that speed they haven't enough torque for that motor.

Each section has three(3) blades. There are a total of 18 blades. Included are six(6) spokes that hold the blades in position. These spokes are shown in the photo. Note the windmill is not assembled. The length of each blade is about 29 inches. The blade is about 12 inches wide at the wide end and about 6 inches wide at the narrow end. The blades are galvanized steel. I think. I just laid it out in the driveway for the photo. I swept some dust off it. But it is not cleaned up. I have never assembled this. When the windmill was being taken down(in the 1970s. I think) my wife and I“rescued” it and I always imagined that I would install it as outdoor art ... moreon the end of the garage, or somewhere else. It never got done! Now we are thinking of downsizing. And I’m trying to clear out all the stuff from the garage. We are seeking a new home to value the history and honor what this windmill fan meant to a farm family in Ohio many years ago. The windmill hub is not included. Only what is in the photos. Jacobs Wind Turbine Blades
I have a very nice set of 13 foot blades that fit a 17.5 KW Jacobs wind turbine. These were painted and balanced a few years ago and are in storage right now. I upgraded this year since my dad who does the maintenance on it has decided he is retiring and moving south. They were painted with marine paint and then balanced professionally. DC-540 Wind Permanent Magnet Alternator HUB, 40inc BLADES, STAINLESS STEEL MONT
THIS SYSTEM I've spent almost $ 400. 40inch BLADES fiberglass balanced. The DC-540 Model is perfect for use as a wind generator in areas that experience average winds of 5-15 MPH. This Model Reaches 12 Volts at 130 RPM. The chart below represents actual output on a test stand. Voltage readings were recorded with the circuit open(No Load) while Amperage was recorded with the output shorted(Max Load) Your system setup will determine what output you will see in the“real world” For example. A dead battery will pull much more current similar to the shorted output reading than will a fully charged battery. Also, the voltage will rise until it meets the voltage of your battery and then level off as the battery is“absorbing” the excess voltage as it charges. The output is unregulated. You should be sure and run a 20 or 30 amp fuse on the output ... moreto prevent damage to the unit if your load becomes excessive. Also, consider using a charge regulator so your batteries don’t become overcharged. On our test stand with a 12 Volt battery connected the PMA produced 18 Amps at 2000 RPM. Features a 303 Stainless Steel Shaft for ultimate corrosion protection and increased power output. The shaft also features a standard thread size of 5/8 x 18 threads per inch for easy adaptation to your project. All WindBlue DC-520 and DC-540 Alternators are equipped with a 3-phase External Rectifier Output pigtail. This small black connector on the back of the unit allows you to run less costly 3-conductor wire to your battery location instead of large heavy battery cables. Once at the battery location the 3-phase power is fed into an External Rectifier( sold separately) and converted to DC fo r connection to the battery. Note: WindBlue External Rectifier output equipped alternators can still be connected for DC output by using the battery terminal on the back of alternator. This wind turbine was used to power part of my house off the grid during the last storm it charged my battery bank for my power inverter to run my house. It is not a TOY wind turbine it will produce a lot of power for off or on the grid. It is five foot long from end to end whit a six foot blade span it is close to fifty lbs. folly assembled. I went to a bigger wind turbine and need the tower to put it on so I have no place to put this one. that is why I'm selling it I paid 1300.00 $ for it a year a go it is in good working condition.
