Offered is a Vintage Early Mid Century Era Star Brand Metal Country/General Store Thread Spool Display Stand. It measures approx. 14" wide by 12 1/2" front to back. And is approx. 8 1/2" tall. It is in good structural condition. There is some surface rust and natural patina consistent with 60 to 75 year old antique metal wares. It is quite RARE to find these at all. But especially with the plastic lid cover still intact. The name on this lid cover has come loose on the ends and it appears attempts were made to tape it back into place. The lid cover shows warping& some discoloration. Probably from decades of usage, aging, and storage. A rare antique display to compliment your collection. Offered is a Vintage Old Hickory Shoe Lace Country Store Counter Top Display. It measures approx. 12 1/2" wide by 6" deep and tall. It is 9" tall including the advertising sign. The drawers are 5 3/4" square by 1 1/4" deep. One of the drawers is missing the front& pull handle. It has been turned backwards in the display which makes it appear to be just missing the handle. There are two sheets of extra name tags(black pieces) for the drawers. The drawers are stained/soiled and there is a lot of surface rust& natural patina on the metal consistent with age. This display is likely 60 to 75 years old! It was rescued from an old country/general store that was abandoned and the doors locked decades ago. 4 Oak Benches Removable seats storage purple school industrial stools seating
This is located in Minnesota and is a pick up only. This set of benches are solid and strong. Very heavy duty. Made of oak on perimeter and the removable seats are all in tact. One small seat has two small holes in the fabric, a large seat has one small hole in fabric, and one back has a corner seam that came loose(all pictured) just needs a needle and thread. There is lots of storage in these benches. There are some stains(also pictured) I'm not sure what they are, they were there when I bought these at a school auction. One of the benches with a back has a crack in front. This bench is still solid and sturdy and the crack does not hinder any function of the bench. The color is faded from the original deep purple, but you can't tell that they were even another color unless you remove the seats. The current purple is still good. Each ... morebench measures approximately 30" x 30" These came from our local school. I think they were either in the lobby or library. I'm not positive. They are build strong for student use. This barrel comes from the Robert Mondovi Winery in Napa California. It was made approx. 15 years ago by Mr. Mondovi's retired Wine Maker. he made it out of an old oak wine barrel. Using the cut out stays for the inside wind rack which rotates. As far as I can find out, there are only two out there, the winery has one and I have the other. This is for a nice clean early Victorian antique buffalo horn snuff box. It is most likely Scottish and it dates to the early 1800s. It is well made with strong markings and it is in excellent condition with no damage. It measures 73mm(3" by 50mm(2" by 20mm(0.75" deep. It is able to hold a good amount of silverware and flatware and protect them from damage. Solid wood. There are two places to store the flatware/utensils on top& there are places to lie the flatware/ utensils on the bottom. On the inside bottom there is a label with the Tudor Pate. The Wear-proofed silverare by Oneida Company Silversmiths& a label on the other side Anti-tarnish case Oneida LTD. The storage chest measures 3" tall by 11 1/4" in length by 15 3/4" in width.
