Vintage/Antique Gas/Dust Mask P/N459029
You are looking at a very old gas mask. I do not know anything about this mask but only that it is old. It could be a gas mask for war or a mask for painting or being around toxins. The two side discs have the old cartridge gasket in them as seen in the second picture and imprinted says. Warning. Protection voided if Cartridge Gasket is not in place" One is in great shape and the other is shrivelled. The straps are somewhat stretchy still and have the clips for fastening. The letters and numbers P/N 459029 are on each side disc- not sure what that would be for. There is an"M" on the upper section where the bridge of the nose fits. Hope someone can fill me in on this.
