The Opti-Fit Survivair Masks and 82 unexpired Canisters are in very good condition and the majority appears to be new. Here is a vintage MSA Ammonia Gas Mask in its original case with 2 cannisters#1406 issued to the Mine Safety Appliance Co in Pittsburgh. Pa. I would say this was used during WW11 moving forward into the 1950's. This field protection mask is one of various gas masks used by the military of the US and its allies to protect from field concentrations of chemical and biological agents along with radiological fallout particles. It is in good condition. The set includes gas mask. Rubber hose, 2 cannisters with harness and metal case with instruction sheet. The metal case measures 13.5" high x 9" wide x 6.5" deep. A great piece of military history!

Up for bid. And in what appears to be, very lightly used(may not have been used.not sure) condition, is a US Army chemical, biological field gas mask. I believe it is a M40A1 mask. It is nice and clean.just dusty from being stored in the original carrying case. All the rubber and straps are pliable. I do not see any splits on the mask. The side of the mask is marked. M/L" There are several numbers on the mask. One of which is"ILD94K204-586" An operators manual is also included. It is dated 1 February 1994. The carrying case is in very good condition. There are no other pieces in the case. This item is offered as is. As found, without warranty. Also, this item appears to be several years old based on the date of the operators manual.

Here is a MSA Belt-Mounted Powered Air Purifying Respirator This is an older used unit that works but the old rechargeable batteries are junk. Just replace the batteries and clean it up. Install new filters and your all set, and you will have a nice unit. The lens is scratched as you can see in the pic. The batteries run the motor slow, but it will run. rubber straps have little dry rot in some spots, but all works and fits good still on your head. British Avon S10 Gas Mask Respirator Size 2 1987
I am no expert on these gas masks so I am not going to just copy and paste someone else’s information here for rear that I may be wrong. I can tell you I believe this is a S10 model size 2. It is marked AVON 1987 and 2 with a 10 on the tube that goes from the front center to the inside. I believe this is a drinking tube. I put the mask through the dishwasher here so it has that“fresh” dishwasher soap smell. It’s really more of a light scent then a smell. The white spots brush off with a sturdy scrub brush. I brushed most of it off already. Perhaps a soak in hot water will also get rid of them? The lenses are scratched and it does affect the view. I cleaned the lenses so what you see on them are scratches including one serious gouge scratch on one lens.
