Turning this clock wise will give you up to 30dB of gain reduction(depending on input gain) Please note that the Compulators max gain is 26dB(see Trim Pot) so in some circumstances if your instrument is very hot you could achieve less than unity gain if you turn up the compress knob too much. Volume increases and decreases the output volume of the Compulator. Use this for level matching between the effected and unaffected signal. Trim pot sets the gain of the compressor's pre-amplifier. If distortion occurs turn this down until the signal is clean. The unit is set at the factory at 20dB of gain which is perfect for most instruments. If you have weaker pickups or want to push the envelope turn it up to its max gain 26dB. Power supply: 9 volts DC. Either external or internal. For internal power. Use a 9 volt battery. To access, remove the four screws on the sides of the unit and pull apart. Note: battery must have at least 7 volts for unit to work! CUSTOM MODDED Tortuga Effects Neptune Dual Opto-Vibe Guitar Pedal
Excellent condition Tortuga Neptune pedal. Purchased and modded directly from Tortuga- includes original box and paperwork. Used minimally in my apartment. Ships UPS, continental US only. HERE IS THE MOD: Basically the pedal has two separate programmable circuits. Both have speed and depth parameters. The depth are controlled by knobs. But the speed(rate) is controlled on the left(of the original) by a preset knob and on the right by an optical sensor that increases in speed depending on how close your foot is to the sensor. i LOVED the sound of this pedal, it is unbelievable warm and lush and I enjoy having multiple presets that I can click between on-the-fly. However, I wasn't a fan of the optical sensor, I found it hard to keep my foot steady and ideally wanted to be able to preset BOTH channels with different speeds to switch between ... moreand not have to use my foot to control one of them. Additionally, the fastest rate of speed through the sensor was not as fast, I found, as the farthest dial on the knob was for the other circuit. Meaning basically that if I wanted one of the presets to be max-speed, I figured I could easily just rest my foot on top of the sensor and use that side for my max speed preset, but it turned out doing so did not allow as fast a rate as I could achieve on the left side using the max knob setting, so the idea to use the sensor as my max-rate preset wasn't a viable option either, or at least not as good as using the knob for a max-speed setting. So I had them wire me one without the sensor, replacing it with a speed/rate knob identical to the one on the left. Now the unit has two identical circuits each with independent rate and depth knobs allowing me to fully preset my two sets of parameters and just easily click between them. I hope that makes sense, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Not to knock the optical sensor, it just wasn't for me. These guys make truly unbelievable sounding effects and I recommend them greatly(I also have a Martini Analog Chorus/V

For sale is a used opto-vibe chorus and tremolo pedal effect pedal by the boutique pedal maker. Viva analog. The pedal sounds great and is extremely subtle. The pedal is in full working order to my knowledge with the exception of the LED which is out. I am the 3rd owner of the pedal, so I do not know the history that well. I acquired it from a guy in Canada and he told me he was the second owner an that the pedal went for $400 new. On the inside is stamped 2009. It runs on your typical 9 volt battery supply that Boss and other common guitar pedals use. As you can tell from the pictures, the build quality is fantastic.
