Up for auction is an extremely rare 1930's 33.3mm Omega CHRO Yacht Timer watch movement. This watch movement features a very rare single olive or football shaped button. Subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30 min register with a yacht timer, outer minute/seconds and 1/5th seconds divisions. Also includes a yacht timing scale on the dial, which is virtually impossible to find. The movement is a CHRO 33.3mm, 17 jewels, rhodium plated, and signed by Omega. Serial number 9370744. Antique Hourglass / Sand Timer, Made in Italy by Artamount, Silver over Brass
Artamount Sand Timer/ Hourglass This is a very nice old hourglass timer from around the early 20th cen. It has a glass insert and pink sand which takes three minutes to fully empty one side. not guaranteed to be an exact timer) The metal is silver over brass. The timer has unique ends which appear to me to be old phone dialers. The hourglass could have been used to time long distance calls. One end is engraved, ITALY ARTAMOUNT and the other end, PAT. PEND. It measures 4.5 inches long, heavy, solid and quality construction, both ends threaded. It has superficial scratches but nothing out of line for an item this old. The color is silver with brass showing through except the end pieces which are silver. In some of the pictures the hourglass looks more silver and in some it looks more brass.
