This machine has been used in a commercial application for many years. has been serviced and taken care of. I ran a number of coins through this machine as well as a fully functional machine. On average I was off by penny(s) about 1 out of 10 counts. The machine works great. Not very loud. The only reason it is being sold as"NEEDING SERVICE" is because of the occasional miscount on pennies. Has counted every other denomination of coin accurately on every test I ran. I have counted every coin separately. When counted separately I have had 100% accuracy through over 15 counts, it's only when I mix the coins that I get the occasional +/ on pennies. I have counted as little as $2.30 all the way up too $337.59. NOTE: It really helps to empty the penny tray at about 500 coins because, as I found out, The pennies will overflow Cosmetics ... moreof the machine are very good as well. I have cleaned the unit as much as I can. Without the proper"Rail Tool" I did not clean the rail at all. General Radio GR-1157B 500 mhz. Prescaler, Frequency Counter, Electronic Test
This is a gem. Until very recently when I acquired a counter which will work at 500mhz. I used this to get there. It is very sensitive and I will miss the level meter on the front. The switched attenuator is handy also. I checked it out and it exceeds all basic specifications. It counts to 570 mhz. and only needs 55mv at 500mhz. for stable triggering. The spec. is 100mv. I've owned this for nearly 30 years and it has never failed me. GR made some solid equipment. It comes with a GR-874 to BNC adapter. a power cord and a Xerox copy of the manual. S/N 00171. After its unpluged for a while when you plug it in the counter flashes a# and the.10 light flashes. Turn it off and back on. it is ready to go. I dont know it that is a code or the accumulative count or just reset, but it seems little used and working fine. Just reset, dump the coins on tray, turn on motor and shovel them in there. count appears on meter and coins sorted to trays. There seems to be an input option on the back and has info taped to it for hooking up to a computer.

But I have found that American Changer makes one similar to this at a retail value of $750. Used people counter tested to be in working order. Includes unit only. The RTC-P3 people counter gives you an enormous amount of flexibility. The RTC-P3 is a modular unit. Not an all-in-one unit. This means that the RTC-P3 people counter and door sensors are housed in separate enclosures. The RTC-P3 people counter can be placed anywhere; however, it is usually placed behind the sales counter or in the back office, near the PC or POS to which the RTC-P3 is connected. The RTC-P3 can accept up to three door sensors. The RTC-S2X Standard Door Sensor and the RTC-S2XL Long-Range Door Sensor, which are sold separately and which connect to the RTC-P3 people counter via Category 5 Networking Cable. The RTC-P3 can be connected to a PC or POS. But it is not required. Most customers keep the RTC-P3 connected to the PC or POS all the time. However, if ... moreyou don't have a PC available, you can allow the system to accumulate traffic and then connect the RTC-P3 to a laptop every once in a while in order to transmit the data. The transmit process only takes a few seconds. The standard door sensor that we use with the RTC-P3. The RTC-S2X, can sense traffic on entrances as wide as approximately eight feet in directional mode and approximately 13 feet in nondirectional mode. We also offer the optional RTC-S2XL, which is a long-range sensor that can be used with the RTC-P3 for entrances wider than 13 feet.
