Downsizing and selling off my treasures. This is an auction for a vintage Beatles' YELLOW SUBMARINE counter display standee. I have seen two other displays on eBay.they each have a different back so I'm not sure if one is a fake/reproduction. This one is older.it has foxing to the reverse which I imagine would've taken some time to appear. There is damage to the reverse as well: dried up tape residue(it looks like the sort of residue that results from duct tape. There is paper-loss where the tape was removed. There is clear tape on the back which seems to be holding a plastic wall-hanging tab in place. I haven't tried to remove anything so am just describing what is visible(and if you zoom in on the photos. You can get a better idea of condition) Looking at the front. The edges of the piece have wear. It's a sort of thick ... morecardboard with a lithographed image attached. The edges have wear: most especially the left side; the top of George's head; Ringo's shoulder; and the bottom corners. Please note that John's head and hand are bent. The interesting addition to this piece of memorabilia is PETE BEST's autograph. I didn't obtain this myself.it was on the piece as I found it. Still.I DID obtain Pete's autograph at a Beatle convention in CT many years ago and have pictured mine beside the other one to verify authenticity. I'd hazard a guess it will stand up to scrutiny. Vintage Wood Yeast Foam Countertop Box. This box held 1 1/2 dozen packages of yeast foam used for making bread. Rolls, buckwheat cakes and root beer. this box measures approx. 8 1/2" x 3 1/4"x 5 1/4" and is in good condition given its age. the yeast was manufactured by Northwestern Yeast Co Chicago, Ill. as printed on one side of the box. There is printing on each side of the box as seen in the pictures. The corners I believe are dove tail joints as seen in the 8th. picture. There is a slight crack in the bottom but it is still solid. This would look great on display and a nice addition to a collection. There is no top to this box. Please view the pictures and feel free to ask questions.

1960's Kohner Tricky Trapeze Point of Sale Counter Display. Made of Cardboard. Powered by 2"D" Cell Batteries. I put batteries in it and it works after you give the little Mickey a nudge. Then it just goes and goes. See link to video below. Measures approximately 14" Tall and 12" Wide. Very Colorful. Mickey is mounted to a motor spindle that spins when you put in the batteries. There is no Off/On Switch. Attached to a cardboard base is a partial trapeze toy base.see image. Funny the base has a sticker for"Secret Squirrel"one of the trapezes available during that time. One of the battery bars has corrosion. But it did not affect the toy when I put in the batteries. Condition of the Display: The cardboard base triangle that pulls out to hold the display up has been torn and is scotch taped.see image. The 2 ... morebatteries are just too heavy for that kind of cardboard support. I leaned the display up against the wall and it stood fine for the video. There are various scratches(I noted main one next to the'Y' in'TRICKY' as well as corner and edgewear. Please see closeup images that I have posted. The colors on the display are vibrant. The orange to the left of the display is lighter in color and gets darker as you progress to the right of the display. Not sure if thats the way it came. The'Secret Squirrel' label looks a little faded to me. I have not cleaned the trapeze toy and it is a little dusty. I will leave that to the new owner. Condition of the Shipping Carton: The carton has only been opened from the top. The bottom still retains its paper shipping tape. The top flaps are intact. There is a spot of spray paint on the back corner.see image. Originally this carton also contained 12 Trapeze Toys.They have long been sold and are not there. I would assume that this display was used and when the toys were sold. It was put away in its original carton by the store and kept somewhere for these 40 some odd years. Cabinet is in good and solid condition overall with scratches, marks, and material shrinkage commensurate with age and actual usage. Lithograph front shows fading and wear, but still conveys the overall graphic well. Cabinet has original marquis top, back barn-style door and hinges, and front graphic. Antique store counter, bar, glass display case for jewelry or collectables
PRICED TO SELL* It is a beautiful piece. Very very old. It was in my store for almost 20 years and in a shop in Narraganset for decades before that. The counter is a very heavy. Solid rock maple. It has fabulous design and beautiful wainscoting detail. I have always thought it would make an awesome bar as well! The glass display top sits on top of the counter and is not attached. It can be moved to any part of the counter. The glass in that piece is original. And has some of the wave apperience glass of that age has. The back that jewelry case has been mirrored. Not by me, but must have been done at a later date. The paint is in good condition. A few minor chips. Probably needs a good cleaning it has been in the garage awhile. The far end is unfinished. It is the end you put against the wall(see photo) You could always finish it if you like.The ... moreback is great for storage, tons of room. This is a large. Pre-turn of the century, oak, curved glass mercantile countertop display. It has been restored and the nickel/silver hardware cleaned and polished. It opens from the rear and has the original wavy glass including the mirrored doors. The cabinet measures 36" wide by 28" deep and is 40" high. Retail Glass Display Unit Jewelry Counter Fine Items Cabinets
Up for auction are two glass display units that fit together to make a 45 degree display. Each counter is approx. 63 inches long. And is approx. 22 inches wide and each side has 4 drawers and two silding doors to the diplay area. This unit has been re-keys and locks with new keys. There are no cracks and no chips to the glass. There are no major scratches that I can see. I do not see any minor scratches either but there may be some small ones that I did not notice. One of the ballast which starts the lights needs to be replaced. LORD UP FOR BID IS A RARE VINTAGE TENNYSON CIGAR DIAPLAY TIN. THE TIN FOR ITS AGE IS IN RELATIVELY NICE CONDITION. IT DOES NEED SOME CLEANING BUT I WILL LET THE WINNING BIDDER DO THAT AS THEY SEE FIT. THE GRAPHICS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE GLASS IS INTACT AND HAS NO VISIBLE CRACKS.
