This display measures approximately 24" long x 11" deep x 8" tall. The inside of the glass door display area measures approximately 23" long x 10" wide x 2" deep and features 3 velcro straps for securing your collectibles. Due to this display only being 2" deep you will have to use it to display your smaller collectibles. The front glass is actually a door that opens and closes. VICTORIAN KEROSINE LANTERN COUNTER TOP DISPLAY STAND LATE 1800s CAST IRON
Offered is a Victorian period counter top display stand for kerosine and coal lanterns. I had a hard time finding out what this was until i went to my favorite antique dealer. Told me it was from the 1870 to 1900 time period. He told me in the old days they would display kerosine lanterns on the counter for sale and with the top tier being larger possibly a coal lantern. This is made of heavy cast iron and is very ornate. This is not a reproduction. I believe reprodutions were made with aluminum.The three arms set in a hole on a trundle iron piece that can swivel around the shaft. It also has a square set screw to tighten the unit stationary. It can be lowered up or down. Each arm also swings from side to side. It has a ornate heavy 6"x6" base with the number 505 on the bottom. The cups on the end of the arm turn also and are 4.25"s ... moreacross. The top center holder is 5.5"s across. The whole thing stands 8"s tall and the arms extend 8.5"s out from the center shaft. This has been painted several times. And if I were keeping it I would strip it down to the original natural cast iron, but that is just me. This is a very cool awesome collectible piece. It is a bit dusty and needs to be wiped down. Summer is over and i have had a great year of collecting and it is time to start selling. I will be listing many items in the days and weeks to come. Rare Hamms Bear Beer On Tap Back Bar Counter Top Styrofoam Display Sign Nice
What we have here is a rare styrofoam hamms bear. This is a hard piece to come by and has two display signs that goes with it. The ON TAP sign a slight warp in the middle. This will not be seen when put onto the display bear, just wanted to note. The texture on the bear is a velvet like coating. Bear has a dent behind the right paw as noted in pic that cannot be seen from the front. The base has some denting and the letter"S" has some crushing as noted in pic. It measures approx. 19 1/2" in length from the back of the jar to the front of the screw on lid x 7" wide across the aluminum stand x approx. 9 3/4" in height to the top of the stand. This jar is in good used condition with the normal imperfections such as tiny air bubbles, minor scratches and roughness around the opening and three small chips on the edge of inside opening. The lid is missing the moisture absorbing pad and it has some dents as can be expected for an old candy display jar also there is slight oxidation on the aluminum lid and stand.and it can use some cleaning other than that there is no repairs, cracks or cloudiness. The invoice states that there are 364 packets. I did not count them. I cut the original sealing tape to take these photos and nothing was removed after I opened the box. The outer box is about 18 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 3 1/2" and shows some scuff marks. The 3rd picture shows a cardboard sign that fits on the top of the display. It is about 18 1/4" x 11 1/2" The sign with the bird is about 22" x 7" and is on thin paper. There are usually several of each seed variety. For example within the Marigold group there are 2, 3, 2, 2, 1, 2 and 3 each of 7 varieties for a total of 15 Marigold packets.
