Strong, solid, and in very good condition. It has some desirable features that will make it useful for the home. In addition, it comes apart easily for storage if that is necessary. 2. the base has beautiful lion paw feet; the arm is capped at the end. The base has an Art Deco step design made of cast iron. The pole looks to be adjustable with a screw set into the middle ring. The base is rusted and it needs to be cleaned. Old department store clothing rack. This came out of a de'jongs department store in evansville in that was closed down. Very cool well made piece. It is stamped on the bottom and I believe it says Darling and then made in the USA. I have seen other antique stoves made in evansville that were also stamped darling so I believe this piece was made in evansville. This is a heavy item. I would say it weighs close to 75 pounds. This is a hard to find clothing display rack for Barbie and Ken. Produced in 1963, in good, used condition. The main flaws are that the plastic cap to the metal support on the left side is cracked, while the cap for the support on the right side is missing. It includes the metal cross rod for hanging the clothes. The base is painted metal and it is in good, played with condition- it has very play minor wear with no major scratches. The cardboard backing is also in good played with condition with a few small scratches. It is attached to the bottom in 3 places by 2 brads and 1 screw- but I'm not sure which of these is original, so you will receive what is there. I happily combine shipping to save you money. Up for auction is this vintage free standing clothes rack. It is very ornate with all it's curves.It is approx 6 ft Tall. The top diameter is approx 2ft and the base is 2ft 5" from one end to the other.the very top originally had a wood finial but it did not survive time.only 1 wood ball at the end survived as pictured.I believe it is made of steel.I have not seen one like this with so much detail to it.I have used it as is for many many years in my closet. Art Deco Two Wall Brackets Shelf Vintage Clothing Rack RARE! 1920's
Up for auction is a great pair of antique chromed metal brackets. They are made by Keil Hardware Co. Brooklyn N.Y. The brackets are high quality.appear to be made of cast aluminum. The brackets are marked Brooklyn, Standard-Keil, New York, No. 4950. Each bracket has 2 mounting holes located 4 3/16" apart. The brackets support three round 1" diameter posts, and are 2 fastening holes on the underside of each half-moon support. The brackets measure 12 1/2" deep by 7" high from the bottom of the mounting area to the top of the bracket. The surface that mounts the bracket to the wall measures 1 1/2" wide. This handsome piece is a classic from the ~1950s. It was made in Italy of fine wood construction and provides a place for suit coat. Shirt, shoes, and jewelry.
