Vintage 50" Fenwick Locking Latch Rod Case 8 Section Dividers
Vintage Fenwick rod case with locking latch. Overall length about 50" x 8" x 4" Fits eight 48" rod sections in the foam dividers. Very good condition. Seems to have had very little use. No damage to the case or hinges, the foam is like new and all three of the latches work and have brass in good bright condition. Unfortunately, I have no key for this case.

There is normal metal to metal rubbing that goes on with the drawers and the runners inside the cabinet. There is a small dent on the top, left front side of the top. This plastic storage box for 5 ¼ diskettes is left over from our Commodore 64. It has a vanilla colored bottom and smokey plastic top that lifts up to access diskettes. The 5 dividers are adjustable. The box measures approximately 6 ½ wide by 6 inches high and 7 1/8 inches deep. There is a crack in the top of the box which does not extend to the edge or affect its serviceability. On the bottom it is indicated it was manufactured in 1984 by A.L.S Industries Inc. Torrance, Calif. 90504, CM 300. We also have included an empty gray cardboard 3M diskette box. ANTIQUE WENZEL FRITSCH ?? WOODEN PROPORTIONAL CALIPERS DIVIDERS COMPASSES
The item for sale is an antique pair of wood dividers/calipers/compasses that due to its age is being sold as seen. The wood is stamped both halves with what looks like Wenzel Fritsch.Wasser Thorstr.35,Berlin,42. I have no idea of age as i am unable to find anything about the maker or can i find another like it but i know an Ebay wag will soon let me know. The calipers are approx 19.5" long and open out nearly 180o- the locking bolt in the centre does tighten up but does not lock the assembly in place allowing it still to slide up and down- the metal prongs have age oxidisation on them. On the bottom half there is a crack in the wood near the end which looks old- there is 2 small pieces of wood inserted in the slide channel which have fitted very well and again have been fitted a long time- the slide channel does have some feint black ... moresection lines but no numbers but there is a No.11 stamped on the inner sides of both pieces. Will be posted using a cardboard tube or box. Here we have a very old Humpty Dumpty 3 doz wooden egg carrier with original dividers inside. You can see the writing on the dividers that have the patent date for them. It says Humpty Dumpty made by Cummmer mfg co Cadillac Mich. These were made in the late 1800s early 1900s. The patent on the dividers which are probably newer than the wood part is 1922. Antique Wood Egg Crate for a Gross(12 dozen) 144) Eggs. Chicken Hen House on Farm to Market Original Pressed Cardboard Dividers Is Vintage Free shipping included in the Buy It Now price! This FARM EGG CRATE is as complete as seen on E Bay today! I will say it is UNIQUE. Eggs collected in the hen house were gathered each morning and cleaned up. Then packed in this type of egg crate. Each layer holds two dozen eggs and there are 6 layers. For a total of 12 dozen or 144 eggs(one gross of eggs or a dozen dozen eggs. A common term in farm to market goods) The wood, type not known but likely a soft wood, like cottonwood, available nearly everywhere, was cut into small slats and and a wire at each corner with some keenly placed nails held it all together. It had to be sturdy to protect the eggs! And these carriers were! Pressed light weight pulp ... morepaper formed to shape to hold the ends of the tops and bottoms of the eggs between layers and light carton dividers to separate the two dozen eggs on each layer really did protect the eggs. Image the gravel and dirt roads. Flat tires very common in the 1920's to 1950's! Roads were rough and trucks bounced often. We lifted the lid off carefully(slide top to one side to clear the opposite edge, then tilt up and out) and took out the dividers and layers. They show use and some dirt but no rats, gold nuggets, etc. were found. The pressed paper layers were in very good condition for an estimated 60 to 90 years of age(hope I do as well) A couple tears in horizontal dividers were noted but these are hard to see and hopefully, the buyer will respect old age! Most compatible crates had no dividers at all! We did not try to clean anything due to this respect for its age and still in tact! But we judge it a danny!Chickens laid eggs or were dinner the next day! The farmer sold or traded directly with the little country, town and city markets.
