The boy’s left arm has been bent backwards, and it is taped to keep it secure. It is not torn all the way through, as the backside is still intact. There is some roughness and scraping on the bottom ... moreright corner edge. I see just a very little bit of rubbing on the surface, from normal handling. The illustration is vivid and fresh. The backside shows some aging. The cardboard stand is original and complete. This is a really nice and original counter display. Apparently if you collected enough Libby’s Milk labels. You could turn them in for Boy Scout equipment. This is a great counter display, and I'm sure you will be happy, when you add it into either your Boy Scout, or vintage advertising collection. Original 1940's or 50's Buco counter top display case or box that once contained a wide selection of ornaments for motorcycle gear and accessories from the Joseph Buegeleisen Co. of Detroit. Michigan. Front of case describes contents as chrome buttons, spots, reflectors, conchas and jewels. Probably from a motorcycle dealership. Gold-painted wood with black Buco logo and lettering. Footprint of case is 13 5/8" x 16 3/4" Front piece and top are angled, with the depth of the case 3 1/4" at the front and 5 1/4" at the back. Inside is a system of wood dividers over a Masonite bottom with 30 compartments. Each compartment has a corresponding number on the original glass top. Numbers and white ... morebacking have been reverse-applied. The rear advertising board rises 10 1/4" and features a nice Buco company logo. No plastic anywhere on this! The fifth photo shows how the case opens. When the brass knob on the rear is pulled the drawer slides back so the person behind the counter could remove items for a customer. The condition of this display case is very good. The various pieces fit together tightly and the unit is quite solid. The drawer slides back and forth easily. No cracks in the glass. Although there are a couple of small scratches. The wood interior is in good shape, with minor darkening in small spots from use. Note small chips out of the wood above the Buco logo, near the left rear corner and directly on the right rear corner. Rear board slightly curved. Also, the front board has a few chips and scratches as seen and some customer-inflicted pencil pokes in the"C's and"O's" There are many great Buco leather jackets. Counter Top Frozen Treats Merchindise Display Freezer
Your bidding on the nice used counter top Merchandise Freezer Pictured. This is a Silver King Model SK-CTM unit. 115 volts, single phz, has a clear see thru plastic top so customers can see the products. This unit is great for novelty Ice Cream inside is set up with a divider each side has freezing space of 8" wide 20" front to back and 7" deep from the bottom to the freezer line. This unit takes up very little counter space it is only 21" wide, 31" deep and is 17" high at its highest point. Just remember you must have room above it to open the lid to get the products out. Unit is in over all good shape there are some hasp part attached to it where someone at some point locked the unit. I left the hasp parts on so there would not be holes in the unit but thats up to you. The light does not currently work we will ... moretake a look at that but your buying it with the light not working if we get it fixed then your getting a bonus. Unit shows normal wear for a used piece of equipment but has life left in it. Vintage Chalkware OWL Lamp G& W Whiskies Detroit. Michigan Bar. Counter, Shelf Display This Chalkware OWL Lamp is an advertising piece believed to have been a display piece. It has a place for a lamp cord on the bottom(see photo 8) but is not currently wired. I've had it since 1990 and it has never been wired since I have had it. The eyes are open to reflect the light source. According to what I can find out this was probably from the 1937-38 era. The plaque on the bottom front indicates it is for Gooderham& Worts Ltd. Detroit Michigan. The body says"Get Wise, G&W, Good Whiskies. There are many chips to the chalkware coloring- you'll see white spots in the photos which are places where the chalkware has worn away. But it makes a wonderful display piece. There is no major loss of the chalkware just surface blemishes. ... moreThe lamp stands 12" tall. The bottom with space for cord is 4 5/8 x 4 1/8 inches. This is an interesting sign and a rare survivor! It is an original vintage advertising piece that is cardboard construction. The center moves back and forth with a clock like like mechanism made of metal, creating an attention getting contrast of red and white colors. Says Levis Shoes& Boots, The Old West is Alive and Kickin! The back mechanism has a patent number that dates to 1952, but I really don't know how old the piece is, features humorous art work signed McKeehan. It is about 22" tall, 15" across and base is 4" deep. It is in very good condition overall, but does have some edge wear, some water spots on the right side, and back base, yellowish spots on front seem to be part of the graphic design, a few little scuffs and minor scratches, 2 of the points on raised center have been bent and have a crease. Up for auction- Seagram's tin/metal cork coaster dispenser. Overall height is 8.75" The base is 6.25" x 5.25" dispenser measures 4.00" across top and is 6.00" tall. Dispenser is loaded close to the top with the original cork coasters, I did not remove these coasters out of the dispenser but it appears to be close to 100. PLANTER'S PEANUT Counter Top Glass Display Jar Embossed Advertising
Here we have a vintage Planter's Peanut Jar that would have been on a counter top. It has the"Peanut Handle" lid. There are two chips to the lid on the underside that are in-line(check out the pictures) There are a few factory bubbles in the glass as well. There are also two chips on the rim of the jar(see pictures) If you have the jar turned with those towards the back. You don't notice them. This would display nicely. There are some fine scratches on the inside about 2 inches above the bottom. These are fine and hard to see and photograph. Still a great piece of vintage advertising. The jar measures approximately 9 3/4" tall at the tallest part without the cover on x 9 1/2" wide from front to back at the widest part x 5 1/8" wide from side to side. I don't know if the glass cover is original to the this jar or not but it does seem to be a good fit with just a little play. The cover has a lip that fits around the outside edge of the top rim of the jar(please see photo) There are lots of air bubbles in the jar; it looks like there are hundreds of very tiny air bubbles throughout the glass. Giving it a speckled look. The cover also has air bubbles. The jar looks like it has a seam around it near the bottom. This Planters jar and cover are in overall nice condition. It does have some tiny chips around the top rim of the jar and outside edge of the cover. I don't see any cracks or any other chips. This wonderful Jar will make a nice display piece in any home! Has a thin coat of black paint. Stands 42" tall- long part of"L" is 8' short part is 4' 20" wide- shelves are 16" wide. The kick plate on the long end is split and needs re-attached. Sucrets Antiseptic Throat Lozenge lighted counter display
A really cool pharmacy advertising display piece! This is a fresh find out of an old pharmacy building. It is a lighted display piece for Sucrets throat lozenges. It shows show wear and tear but displays well. The base unit has a chipped off of one corner shown in my photos. The bottom says LUXI SIGN; Exclusive design" The Beacon" American Engraving Co. PHILA. There is a thumb screw missing from the other end of the bottom plate and the acrylic sign has a curve in the bottom I am assuming to go around a light bulb. I assume no responsibilty for this electrical device. If you want to work on it that is your call. It does work. I plugged it in in my garage. The measurement is 11.5 inches wide and 10 inches tall. The width of the base is 2.5 inches or so. I am no expert but this appears to be from the 1950's or 1960's. I have ... morenot seen one of these before and it is a unique piece of pharmacia advertising. Would display very well with other pharmacy advertising pieces. Thank you for looking.
