This lid or door would be placed on a metal or plastic box and would hold a different variety of cookie- you could open the door and serve yourself to them. It is plastic with glass in the door and is marked in blue with"Lenell Bros. Baking Co. Inc. It measures approximately 10 3/8" square and is in excellent condition. Famous for its buttery assortment of cookies like Pinwheels and Butterscotch Stars, Lenell Cookies have been beloved by Chicagoans for nearly 75 years. Antique large primitive store counter candy jar. It has a slant front and rounded back end. Sides. Top, and bottom have flat stops. It is 11" deep x 7-1/2" tall x 6" wide. It has many inperfections in the glass, ie, bubbles, wavy stops as old glass often has. It is a heavy thick glass. The rubber gasket to the lid is gone, if it ever had one. It is in very good antique condition no cracks, or chips that I could see, but there is some use rubbing and scratches which only add to its character. The drawers and shelves can switched from one end to the other. The front side is purely for display and the backside has a cubby on the right end that cannot be viewed from the front. Great for supplies. Just above the cubby a cash drawer housed with slots for different bills and change. Just above this drawer is a lid with a slot for receipts or whatever you choose. The jar is in good condition considering it's age with the exception of some chips on inside of the lid.see pic) Lid is original to piece and it and jar have many air bubbles in it. Like many older glass items. Lid fits fine but it is not a sealed top so it moves around a little when placed on jar. This is a great vintage piece! It’s a Clark’s Teaberry Gum counter display stand made from shiny black glass. I don’t know that it is rare. But you don’t see this style of gum stand frequently. Most are the pedestal type. This one measures about 9” long x 6-3/4” wide. It’s 2-3/4” high in the back and sits flush with the table/counter in the front. The edges are about 1” high. CLARK’S TEABERRY GUM is embossed along the front edge of the piece. This piece is in very good condition with the following exceptions: along the inside front edge lip there is a chip(behind the“T” in Teaberry) there is a tiny 1/8” split on the top front lip between the letters“R” and“K” and a chip on the left side near front corner. I’ve tried to show these in the photos. However, it is a little difficult getting them to show up because the glass is so shiny. What a find the wife and I had Sunday. Found a old Warehouse in Pennsylvania Not going say loaded with stuff. BUT the stuff we did find was amazing. 1953 never used under a desk in a box were several I'm going to say really cool card board adds and some really cool wax cups. The sign above is as I'm going to say near mint because a little bit of the clear coat on the sign has peeled off, see Picture# 5, I had to use the zoom lens to pick that up. You can't tell its there unless you really look for it. Corners are all very good. And the colors are bright and picture is vivid. Here is a vintage Yaesu model YC-355D Frequency Counter. This counter has a 5 digit Nixie tube display. I have the original power cord that plugs into the rear panel power jack and it will be included. This counter powers on and the Nixie tubes light but no further testing was done.
