Commercial 5 - 10 HP ELECTRIC MOTOR AND WATER PUMP, Fire
I am not sure what brand or hp this motor and pump are. But it is a very heavy duty commercial unit designed to last in continuous duty for years! This is NOT a cheap Harbor Freight motor. I bought this unit years ago at a city auction and understand it works fine, but was replaced when the system was changed. There is a tag on it that says it was serviced by Cascade Electric Motor Service. Notice the heavy duty cooling fins, grease fittings, internal cooling fan, and cast iron pump housing. A commercial unit like this would cost many times what I am asking for it in this auction, but I can't use it and just want to find a good home for it. Goulds J+& JS+ series Motor Adapter 1K310 Cast number-59394) This auction is for a used Goulds 1k310 motor adapter. I would call this new.But can't because it was on a pump for maybe 2 weeks use. Close to New as you can get at a Great Price. Casing# 59394) this is the number that is cast into the motor adapter. There is no need to buy a new motor adapter when you can buy a used one at a fraction of the cost. Goulds Jet pumps are made to last a lifetime and thats because they can easily be rebuilt with repair parts. Goulds makes replacement parts for pumps that are 30 years old or more. This motor adapter is used,but will function just like new. The one drain plug will also be on the motor adapter when you receive it. I left half of the old shaft seal in the adapter. I wil also throw in the other half of shaft seal that you can see ... morein photo. If you are rebuilding your pump you might want to install a new 10k10 shaft seal, but the one that is included looks pretty new. These adapters are made of cast steel and will last a lifetime as long as they don't freeze. If you live in a climate that reaches freezing temps its best to bring your pump in for the winter.
