You are bidding on a vintage Brown& Sharpe No. 493 bevel protractor. It comes with the original box and the original instruction sheet. It has some surface rust on it from storage but it should come right off with some steel wool. The set screw that holds it on the straight edge is a little stiff and would loosen up with some oil. It is in good condition with no broken pieces and it is nice and straight! All items are sold as is. I do my best to describe them as best as I can but please understand I am not an expert! Offering a vintage Brown and Sharpe bevel blade protractor. There is a 6" sliding blade and a 3" rotating blade attached to the circular degree scale. There are former owner marks as shown in the photos. The blade widths are about 5/8" The rotating and the sliding blade lock nuts are in working order. There is some staining so the tool needs a light cleaning and oiling. See photos for details and other aspects of condition.
