This auction is for a nice pair of gloves as seen. This is an old pair. No tag but the card seen wsa in the tattered box that has kept thes gloves nice for many years. No tag, small mens or a ladies glove. I think the fur is beaver but please see the photo's, that is what you are bidding on. About 11" or so long, a few small spots of missing fur or wear but the fur is in very nice condition as is the leather. The cuffs are fleece lined. Overall very nice condition. Christian Dior unique model gloves. My grandmother modeled in the 1940s and 1950s in Paris. These gloves were given to her. They still have their original Dior tag. Tag says Les gants Christian Dior. Which means gloves in french. Other side says Modele"laxes 8 p. Peausserie glace. Which means"work ice" Coloris blanc which means white. Then 6 1/2 on bottom. Inside glove one is 6 1/2 stamped with a 3. Also hand written in blue ink 351. Inside second glove has Christian Dior stamped then in blue ink 3511. Further inside gloves are 22481 stamped and then 64. Gloves appear to be a very soft leather and inter of glove another type of fabric. Measurements of gloves are 15 inches long. Gloves like these sell on ebay for $89.99 to $129.99 but they do not have the original Dior house tag still on the gloves. Own a part of history. Native American Miniature Gloves Gauntlet vintage beaded leather buckskin doll
Miniature Native American-style leather beaded gauntlet gloves. I am not sure when they were made; they were given to my mother by her sister. Who is now deceased. The finger of each glove is individually stitched. Beadwork is securely attached. These gloves were played with by my daughters when they were small- they used them with their dolls- and so are not in pristine condition: there are a few small stains and the fringe is bent on one glove. I do not know how old they are, and I do not know where they were made or who made them. I assume they are authentic Native-American made, but I have no way of knowing. Each glove is approx. 4" long at the longest point and 3" wide across the top of the glove to the edge of the fringe. They have not been altered in any way.
