Here is a pair of really old mittens. i do not know the age. The hand part is leather and the rest is mohair i think. it is not fur like sheep fur. But a woven fabric with hairs sticking out. some fur is missing, possibly eatten by a moth. they measure 5.5 inches tall. i think the size of hand that goes inside is 3.5" i hope someone out there wants them, otherwise they go in the trash.

MOTHER'S VINTAGE(1934) LONG. 3-BUTTON, PUTTY UNLINED KID LEATHER OPERA GLOVES These beautiful gloves were part of my mother's trousseau. My parents married in 1934. So they are over 80 years old. They are unlined& designed to come up well over the elbow. They are SOOO soft to the touch. They are almost a putty color. But in some some lights they look more ivory. There is no manufacturer's mark. Country of origin, nor size in them, but there are some numbers in ink inside. These could indicate price reductions. Please see photo. I believe they were made in Europe& sold at the up-scale Neusteter's store in Denver where mother purchased most of her trousseau. She lived in Breckenridge. CO& probably only made one trip to Denver to buy her wedding attire. They are for a petite. Narrow hand- measuring approximately 2-3/4" ... moreacross the palm& they are approximately 20-1/2" long from the end of the middle-finger to the top of the glove. Flat across the wrist UNBUTTONED they are approximately 2-7/8" across the top they are approximately 4-1/2" = a 9" opening) My hand is too wide to attempt to try on them. But I assume there is some give to the leather when on the hand. There are three"pearl" buttons on the underside to close the wrist opening. But I doubt they were ever buttoned. There is some decorative stitching on the top side of the gloves which matches the stitching around the fingers& the side-seam. There are some marks on them. Which I believe could be removed with cleaning. They weren't there until I handled them to measure. They may be hand washable. But I am hesitant to wash them. These exquisite gloves have been stored for nearly 80 years along with mother's wedding dress. Hat, lingerie, etc. which are listed separately. While they can still be worn by a someone with a very slender wrist& hand. They would make a beautiful display piece with other vintage clothing& accesories. From a smoke-free home.
