I sell mostly dolls and horse figurines, so check back often. Thanks for looking! DESCRIPTION This auction is for a tagged 1950's Madame Alexander doll dress and matching hat. Dress is tagged"BINNIE WALKER" and will fit a 14" doll. Pretty dress is taffeta with small pink and white checks. Trimmed in white rick-rack on the skirt of the dress and rhinestones on the bodice and a few scattered on the skirt. The matching hat is cute and has a pink ribbon bow. The shoes also come with the outfit, but they are in very poor condition. CONDITION Very nice condition. But not mint. Dress is nice and clean and appears to have never ... morebeen washed, but is lightly wrinkled. I see 3 very tiny pin-head holes in the bodice of the dress- not really noticeable unless you are looking for them. One of the snaps is missing one side of the snap closure. Hat is just a little misshapen. The chin strap on the hat has come loose on one side and is probably not able to stretch properly due to age. Again, the shoes are in poor condition. Except during the summer. Please be aware that if you should decide to bid, I am not able to ship items until the week-end due to my work schedule and the post office times of operation. Vintage 1950s 60s Hard Hat Diver Report Books Birkenhead Docks Liverpool MD&HB
A most interesting set of four hard hat diver's report books relating to Ernest H Corrin starting at 1957 and ending 1967. All entries are hand written in good clear easy to read text describing each job he was on with up and down times, some long downs in the day to day maintenance of the docks, clearing debris and snags etc even unfouling wire cables wrapped around a submarine propeller. With the four log books are four photographs of Ernest. Each book measures 335mm long and together weigh 2988g. Please examine the photographs as they are an essential part of the description. The report books still maintain a slight smell of diesel oil as can be expected from their workplace environment. May be of particular interest to a diving historian. What you see is what there is.
