On the left and right of the hat their are visor hooks and each are marked left and right. The color of the hat is a brown burgundy if you will. The front of the hat reads, Marlin. The hat still has original canvas and leather lining as well as the rope attached outside to keep intact the inside liner. The original tag is still attached to the roof of the hat inside and reads, M-S-A"Skullgard" With Adjustable Lining, Protective Cap-Type B, Small size 61/2 to 71/2 and also gives instructions on how to wear. I see patent dates, one being 1932 and the last one I see is 1939, that is readable. Great piece of history to add to your collection and from what I understand this style is very rare. Measurements; 10-1/2" L x 8" W x 5-3/4" H Condition; Excellent. Minor lining wear and lite scuffs, but no cracks, needs a polish Shipping; For international shipments. Here we have a cool old aluminum Hard Hat by BF McDonald Co. Appears to have done its job a few times as there are dings and some paint loss. See photos. It has Coast Guard Police stickers front and back. The one on the front is on top of another sticker that is in the shape of a"V" with"Sgt. Evander" on it? see photos. Here is a vintage construction/ miners Hard Hat helmet. Made of aluminum. McDonald Mine Safety Appliance Co. Has extensive mid-east engraving decoration of Mosques, varios people on horse back and standing. Reminds of some of the art that comes our Bahrain but not sure. Has a person's name that was covered by a previous owner with silver tape. Also show evidence of a reveted name plackard now gone. Burlington Northern Vintage Willson Hard Hat Construction Railroad Jet Cap
This is a vintage construction hard hat made by Willson in the United States. The front features a logo for Burlington Northern Railroad. The logo is white on white and hard to see. But it is there. Adjustable sizes for 6 1/2 to 8. Marked Jet Cap. All hard plastic. Used but overall in good condition considering age and use. There are some minor scratches and one side has some brown stains. I have not tried to remove them for fear of doing worse damage. So I will leave it up to the new owner. Please e-mail any questions that you might have. VINTAGE B. F. MCDONALD ALUMINUM HARD HAT AND LUNCH BOX, RAT ROD, HOT ROD
Here we have a cool pair of vintage construction items. A vintage aluminum B.F. McDonald hard hat(no inner liner) I polished the aluminum to make it look like chrome. There is one tiny little dent from use. But this hard hat is old. Also included is a vintage aluminum lunch box. I have no idea who made it because there is no name on it. I polished the aluminum to make it look like chrome. The original handle was mussing. So I made a handle out of a piece of bicycle chain. I added a little pinstriping to the front with one shot lettering enamel, and I added an old rat fink pin to the front. There is no thermos, there are a few minor dents from use. The hinges and latches are all in working condition. These belong in the bed of a rat rod truck.

Aside from a couple of faint marks to outer shell. Up for auction is a vintage MSA Comfo Cap. Tiger Stripe Low Vein Mining Hard Hat. This hard hat has no cracks and some light scratches from normal wear. The leather liner needs replaced it is in bad condition. The hat measures 8 3/4 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide on the inside. Also included is the old lamp that was on it when I found it in my old barn hanging on a hook. The exterior shows wear such as scratches& marks. Dravo" is painted on the front& the paint shows a lot of wear. The rim of the brim is worn. The inside/ratchet liner is in worn condition.
