Here is a MSA Comfo Cap made in January of 1983. I purchased this at an estate sale, and cant really say if it has ever been used or not. For a 31 year old hard hat it is as"Mint" as I could imagine. Vintage MSA Skullgard Coal Mine Safety Hard Hat Miner Fiberglass Lamp Bracket
Up for auction I have this old miner's hat. I'm not sure how old it is. I'm guessing from the 1940s or 1950s. I think it is fiberglass. It measures approx. 12 1/4" X 10 3/4" It has the lamp bracket on the front and the cord holder on the back. The bracket inside of the hat is firmly in place, but has some breakage on the plastic. It will need a good cleaning, as I didn't want to use any chemicals on it and I couldn't get the bracket thing on the inside to come out, so you will get it kind of dirty. It has scratches and some chipping on the color. There are a few tiny chips along the rim. On the underside it has the letters MSA and 3 different numbers in a circle- 75 76 77. Coming out of Minnesota sale. I have this Vintage Black Hard Felt Bowler/Derby Hat by Tress& Co. London. This hat is in good condition for its age. The only flaw I can see is on the top of the hat towards the right side there is a small area where there is like a"rub" mark. Otherwise very nice shape. Even the inside looks very nice. One spot where the satin lining is loose from the band of the hat. There is a tag inside that says 7 on it so assume that is the size. VINTAGE B. F. MCDONALD ALUMINUM CIVIL DEFENSE "TURTLE" HELMET HARD HAT
Up for auction is a vintage aluminum Civil Defense helmet manufactured by B.F. Mcdonald Co. Los Angeles. The name"Turtle" refers to the vertical ridges on the crown unlike the more traditional round dome of the doughboy helmets. On the interior brim is embossed: U.S. Patents: No. 2177145. No. 2248366, No. 2415214 and No. D118432. The liner is in good clean condition. The canvas straps are not frayed. The liner band itself appears to be a type of vinyl, not leather. It does not have a chin strap but I see no place on the interior to attach one. Where the paint is scratched, the under color looks like a very dark blue and the Civil Defense emblem appears to be spray-painted on the helmet. This might indicate that it was a workers hard hat or a miner's hat re-purposed for Civil Defense use. The number 17319 is crudely scratched ... moreon the left side. RARE Vintage Chinese Mining Reed Hard Hat Helmet Protective Gear
Here for your consideration is this Vintage Chinese Reed Mining Hard Hat. It is in the shape of a Bowler or Derby hat and consists of reed sewn together and is light weight but extremely rigid. It does have a head liner as well as a chin strap. The exterior has the fitting for placement of a light and the back has two strings or ribbons for tying something to the it. There is a small hole right in the middle of the top of the hard hat see pictures. Vintage DELTA Airlines Cosmetic Hard Case Hat Box Stewardess Travel Bag Zipper
Nice vintage stewardess hat box. Its in great condition for the age of it. The zipper looks good and works good.The handle is secure, sets on 4 buttons. and there is no tears. The only concern is where you open it on the inside where the zipper goes from left side over to the right side if that plastic is torned from opening it or its just that way. Also the handle is a off white from the bag, its the color of the zipper. It could be discolored, and it could use some cleaning. There are also a few scuff marks, but not bad. It measures 11& 3/4" from the end of the bill to the back, and is around 5& 1/2" tall. It has a real leather band inside for comfort and support. Unusual Antique Vintage Millinery Hat Form Brim Mold Hard Wood Block Size 7
14 years ago. My mother-in-law came to live with us. Recently widowed, she left her house as it was, came to Oregon and said she was never going back home. We told her we would pack her house up, pack EVERYTHING, and bring here for her to sort through at her pleasure. Her house was much like a museum. She was an avid and well known antique dealer and collector in Los Angeles in the mid to later 1900's. We moved over 700 boxes of items from her house. Along with many pieces of furniture. 1 of her pieces has been on the Antique Road Show. I built a 7000 sq. foot building to accommodate all her collections. She never opened a box. She died about 6 years ago. And we have just begun the process of going through the boxes ourselves. It is an arduous process. Some items will go to concession dealers. Some are given away, some things donated, ... moresome are kept and some things are offered here. I used to write a bit of the history at the beginning of each ad. I have decided to write this, and when a bit of provenance fits, I will include this introduction. These items were collected many years ago by a very sweet and knowledgeable lady. Condition: The Bullard safety cap is from the estate of the Colonel Purkey DO of GEEIA while stationed at Griffis AFB in Rome New York in the mid to late 1960s before being transferred to Scott AFB Illinois. The hard hat is made of a hard boiled high impact plastic and appears to have been worn very little if any at all. The only blemish that I will point out is the blue paint stain on the front vinyl headband. This is from being placed on top of another hard hat while spending years in storage. This hat is old it does have the old sticker inside of the hat with the headgear that hat does have a hand painted dragon breathing fire on the front and a bear standing up on the back it is a used hat it does have some chips and scratches it looks like it's 19 fifties im not sure I'm not a hard had expired but this is not a new hat

This is a vintage aluminum hard hat. Adjustable, with some scratches but overall in great shape. The color is the most unusual characteristic.it is a faded pinkish color. There is a mark on the front where a triangular sticker once was, and the original color was a dusty rose-pink color. There are no dents and the hat is in great shape. Thanks for looking! Up for Bid is a Vintage SuperLite Hard Hat Safety Aluminum Helmet. It is fully adjustable from size 6 5/8 to size 7 3/4. It is in used but good condition with wear consistent with age. There are a few minor scratches. The sweat band is in fair condition. The inner foam band is somewhat flaking. It is still useable though. Please look at all of the detailed photographs.
