Neither razor has a date code that I can see. They average about 3.5" long and the heads are about 1.5" tall and an inch wide. They are in decent condition but show all signs of use and a very dirty and could use a good cleaning. They have some spottiness to the metal heads and surface scratching from normal use. SWAN EARLY SCREW CAP SAFETY EYEDROPPER, c.1910, WITH GOLD-FILLED OVERFEED
Offered for bids is a Swan Safety Screw Cap eyedropper filler fountain pen in chased black hard rubber from around 1910. This pen is fitted with a 14K Swan nib with a gold-filled overfeed which was Swan experimenting trying to find a better way to get ink to the nib. This pen is 5 1/4" 135mm) long with the cap on and in good condition with no cracks. Engravings and in good color; there is some wear to the chasing, but it is all there and has a full, complete imprint(see picture) There are a few scratches around the end of the barrel which are not that noticeable.The nib appears to be a fine and is fitted with a"pineapple" underfeed. Pineapple because the end is shaped like one. An interesting piece of early pen history, over 100 years old and in good condition.
